HOW TO BE A BOOKIE (HBO Max) - The Sebastian Maniscalco-led comedy series has cast Omar J. Dorsey as Ray, "Danny's partner in their LA-based bookie business, Ray is as imposing as he is complicated"; Andrea Anders as Sandra, "a beautiful, former Vegas cocktail waitress with a 10-year-old son, Sandra is Danny's at-times demanding wife"; Vanessa Ferlito as Lorraine, "crazy smart and a stone-cold criminal, Lorraine is Danny's sister and office manager of the bookie operation, although she doesn't limit her criminal activities to just making book"; and Jorge Garcia as Hector, "a weed dealer whose business cratered when pot became legal, Hector is a cautionary tale for Danny and Ray as they watch sports betting go legit, state by state." (Variety.com)
K-TOWN (NBC, New!) - Denise Hahn and Michael Notarile have sold a new drama to the network which "follows the intertwined fates of three influential families that run L.A.'s Koreatown. But after a shocking money heist and murder, each family's legacy - and the soul of Koreatown itself - is thrown into chaos." The project, from Warner Bros. Television, has a penalty attached. (Deadline.com)
OBITUARY (Hulu, New!) - The streamer has landed a new six-part series about "an obituarist working at a small-town newspaper, who suddenly finds herself being paid by the obituary due to cuts. When she "accidentally" kills a nasty piece of work, she discovers she might have an untapped bloodlust, and sets her sights on other unpleasant residents of the town. Her killing spree hits a potential snag when the paper hires an attractive crime correspondent." Siobhán Cullen is set to star in the project as Elvira Clancy with writer Ray Lawlor, director John Hayes and producer Nell Green also among the auspices. APC Studios' Laurent Boissel and Magamedia's Paddy Hayes are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
THEY'RE WITH ME (CBS, New!) - Dana Klein and Mat Harawitz have landed a multi-camera family comedy at the Eye in which "Jackie and Eli knew right away they were soulmates... too bad their souls come with so much baggage - each has a messed-up 20-something kid and a dependent parent. They're With Me is a modern take on a blended family where, instead of young children, Jackie and Eli both come with two generations of intrusive adults. Forget about an empty nest; the number of birds and eggs has doubled." CBS Studios is behind the project which also has TrillTV's Wendi Trilling and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Melanie Frankel executive producing. (Deadline.com)

Poesy will play Isabelle, "a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl (Reedus) on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris." And Nagaitis protrays Quinn, "a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub." (Deadline.com)
WONDER YEARS, THE (ABC) - The show's second season premiere has been pushed to the summer. Patti LaBelle, Wayne Brady, Tituss Burgess, Donald Faison, Phoebe Robinson and Bradley Whitford are among those on tap for guest roles. (Deadline.com)
