GEEK MEETS GIRL (Syndication, New!) - Fox 21, Trifecta Entertainment and Katalyst Films are developing a new syndicated dating series in which a beautiful woman has two dates with a nerdy guy, who receives a makeover in between. The half-hour project is being eyed for a fall 2011 launch with "Beauty and the Geek" alums Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and Nick Santora executive producing. No other specifics were given.
SHEDDING FOR THE WEDDING (A.K.A. SHED TO WED) (The CW) - The netlet is moving forward with the reality project, ordering eight episodes for a likely midseason launch. "Weddings" revolves around overweight engaged couples who complete for the wedding of their dreams. Dave Broome and Rick Hurvitz are behind the project, which is set up at Raquel Productions. Bruce Beresford-Redman, Hurvitz's former partner in the now dissolved Mindcrime (which originally sold the project), is no longer attached.
SMALLVILLE (The CW) - The netlet is expected to announce at its upfront presentation tomorrow the show's upcoming 10th season will be the last. Co-star Tom Welling inadvertently broke the news in an interview with HollywoodLife.com earlier today.
TEEN WOLF (MTV) - The cable channel reportedly has ordered 12 episodes of its small screen take on the 1980s film franchise. Tyler Posey stars as the title character, a dorky high school student who is bitten by a werewolf. Crystal Reed, Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin also star in the MGM-based project, which comes from executive producers Jeff Davis, Marty Adelstein, Michael Thorn and Rene Echevarria. Russell Mulcahy helmed the pilot.

HBO and NFL Films Announce "Hard Knocks: In Season with the AFC North," An All-New Version of the Decorated Sports Series
New episodes, featuring the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers, will premiere December 3 and on subsequent Tuesdays through the end of the NFL regular season and continue into the NFL playoffs in January 2025.
