BODY OF PROOF (ABC) - The Alphabet has asked for three additional episodes of the Dana Delany-led drama, bringing its season total to 20 episodes. The show's sophomore run includes four installments carried over from its first season ("Missing," "Point of Origin," "Second Chances" and "Hard Knocks"). To date this fall, "Proof" is averaging 9.71 million viewers and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49. (THR.com)

COUGAR TOWN (ABC) - The Alphabet has reportedly rolled back the show's third season commitment from 22 to 15 episodes. Said development is the result of the today's announcement that the series won't be part of its winter schedule - as previously detailed in ABC's upfront presentation back in May - and will instead turn up in the spring. (Deadline.com)

MAN UP! (ABC) - The network reportedly plans to shut down production on the newcomer following the completion of its 13-episode order. Earlier today, the Alphabet announced midseason entry "Work It" will take over the show's Tuesday, 8:30/7:30c slot beginning January 3. Through five weeks, "Man Up!" has averaged 6.69 million viewers and a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49 while lead-in "Last Man Standing" has delivered 9.50 million viewers and a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating during the same stretch. (Deadline.com)

PAN AM (ABC) - The Alphabet and Sony Pictures Television are reportedly in talks to order one additional episode of the series. To date, ABC has aired eight installments from its original 13-episode order. Despite opening on par with lead-in "Desperate Housewives," said run has averaged 6.65 million viewers and a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 while "Housewives" has averaged 8.99 million viewers and a 2.9 rating among adults 18-49. SULLIVAN & SON (TBS) - Christine Ebersole ("Royal Pains") has joined the cast of the Steve Byrne-led comedy pilot, about a popular and legendary neighborhood bar in a working-class neighborhood in Pittsburgh. She'll play Carol, "a lovable drunk at the bar who perpetually overshares details of her wild life and mother to Steve's childhood friend." Dan Lauria, Brian Doyle-Murray, Valerie Azlynn, Brooke Lyons, Vivian Bang and Brian Scolaro also star in the Warner Horizon Television-based half-hour, which Ted Wass is directing from a script by Byrne himself. Rob Long, Peter Billingsley and Vince Vaughn also serve as executive producers alongside Byrne. (THR.com)
