GORGEOUS MORONS (ABC Family/ABCS; W: Danny Chun; D: TBA) - Joy Osmanski ("Save Me") has been cast in the multi-camera comedy pilot, about Madison (Christopher Russell) and AJ (Dylan Playfair), two stunningly handsome but ridiculously simple brothers - one is a model, the other a personal trainer - who find their lives rocked by their brainy new roommate, Jane (Lilah Richcreek), a female literature PhD whose looks are, by their standards, in desperate need of help. She'll play Mary, "a co-worker of Jane's in Columbia's literature department." (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - TLC has formally pulled the plug on "19 Kids and Counting" following "revelations of sexual misconduct by one of its stars" (AP.org); Scott Weinger will reprise his role of Steve Hale on Netflix's "Fuller House" (@ScottWeinger); Jason Dohring is bound for "The Originals" as Detective Will Kinney, "who is described as smart and confident with a very clear sense of right and wrong, who is out to bring the forces of evil to justice" (THR.com); and season two of anthology series "American Crime" will "take place in the Midwest, where the main crimes being tackled involve sexual identity and the disparity in the school systems" (Variety.com).
