UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 13, 2014 - With "The Voice" and "The Blacklist" accounting for three of the week's top seven ratings in adults 18-49 among primetime programs on the Big 4 networks, NBC has averaged a 1.4 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall for the week of May 5-11, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

The Monday edition of "The Voice" delivered the #2 adult 18-49 rating for the week on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, "The Blacklist" ranked #4 and the Tuesday "Voice" tied for #6.

Through 33 weeks of the season, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, all key adult-female demos and other key measures. It's the first time NBC has ranked #1 in 18-49 this late in the season in 10 years (since the 2003-04 season).

NBC's 2.8 rating in adults 18-49 is the network's top average at this point in the season in five years (since a 2.8 in 2008-09). Versus one year ago, NBC is up +17% season to date in adults 18-49 (2.8 vs. 2.4).

Through the season's 33rd week, NBC has won 85 nights in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks, more NBC nightlong wins than for any full September-to-May season since 2001-02 (131 wins).

Through the season's 33rd week, NBC has won 85 nights in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks, more than any other network this season (CBS is #2 with 74 nightly wins) or last (CBS led with 80). It's also NBC's highest total for a September-to-May season in 12 years (since 2001-02, 131 wins).

NBC has won 18 weeks this season in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks, more than any other network this season (CBS is #2 with 9 weekly wins) or last (NBC led with 14). It's the most weeklong wins for NBC in 11 years (since 2002-03, 19 wins).

In total viewers, NBC ranks #2 for the season with an average of 9.4 million viewers, which is its biggest overall audience 33 weeks into the season in eight years (since 2005-06, 9.7 million). Versus one year ago, NBC is up +34% season to date in total viewers (9.4 million vs. 7.0 million). It's the first time NBC has ranked higher than #4 in total viewers at this point in the season in 10 years (since running #2 at this point in the 2003-04 season).

Primetime averages for the week of May 5-11 in adults 18-49 are: ABC, 1.7/5; CBS, 1.5/5; NBC, 1.4/4; Fox, 1.4/5; and CW, 0.5/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 8.4 million; ABC, 6.3 million; NBC, 5.3 million; Fox, 4.7 million; and CW, 1.4 million.

Season-to-date averages are: NBC, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.5/7; CBS, 2.4/7; ABC, 2.1/6; and CW, 0.8/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 10.7 million; NBC, 9.4 million; ABC, 7.6 million; Fox, 7.4 million; and CW, 1.9 million.

NBC highlights for the week of May 5-11:

Monday: NBC won the night in adults 18-49, taking six of six half-hours with the #1 and #2 shows of the night, "The Voice" and "The Blacklist."

"The Voice" (3.0 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 11.0 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) retained 100% of its rating for each of the prior two Mondays in adults 18-49 to remain the #1 show of the night in 18-49 and other key demos. In the time period, "The Voice" ranked #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.

"The Blacklist" (2.7/8 in adults 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) retained 100% of the prior week's 18-49 rating and won the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure, including an adult 18-49 victory by a margin of 69% (2.7 vs. a 1.6 for ABC's second-place "Castle"). The 2.7 keeps "The Blacklist" within a tenth of a rating point of each of its prior six original telecasts. L+7 Time-Shifting: "Blacklist" originals this season are growing by +69% from their L+SD results to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 4.94 from a 2.93) and by 6.2 million persons in total viewers (17.0 million vs. 10.8 million).

Tuesday: "The Voice" (2.5/9 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and is #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. "The Voice" grew from half-hour to half-hour by +17% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.7 rating from a 2.3) and by 15% or 1.5 million persons in total viewers (11.4 million vs. 9.9 million).

"About a Boy" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 comedy in the time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, ahead of "The Goldbergs" and the "New Girl" season finale.

"Growing Up Fisher" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) was the #1 comedy in the time period in total viewers (5.2 million) and adults 25-54 (1.7).

"Chicago Fire" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key measures, to score the show's top rating since March 18 (1.9) and match its best rating since Jan. 7 (2.0). "Chicago Fire" grew from its first half-hour to its second by 6% in 18-49, to pull 0.3 of a point ahead of CBS's "Person of Interest" in the 10:30-11 p.m. half-hour (1.9 vs. 1.6) after the two shows had tied from 10-10:30 (1.8 each). "Chicago Fire" was up for a second original telecast in a row, growing by 6% versus its 1.8 on April 29 and by 12% versus its 1.7 on April 15.

Wednesday: "Revolution" averaged a 1.1/4 in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET. L+7 Time-Shifting: In originals this season, "Revolution" is growing by +67% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 2.35 from a 1.41) and increasing by 2.4 million persons in total viewers (7.5 million vs. 5.1 million).

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.5/4 in adults 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) built on its lead-in by +36% in adults 18-49 and +42% in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew in all key measures. L+7 Time-Shifting: In first-run this season, "SVU" is increasing by +55% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 2.83 from a 1.83) and growing by 2.6 million persons in total viewers (9.5 million vs. 6.9 million).

"Chicago P.D." (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in most key measures and was #1 among those nets in adults 18-34, men 18-34 (tie) and women 18-34. L+7 Time-Shifting: In originals this season, "Chicago P.D." is growing by +59% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 2.66 from a 1.67) and increasing by more than 2.9 million persons in total viewers (9.4 million vs. 6.5 million).

Thursday: A special 8 p.m. "Hollywood Game Night" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) equaled the show's highest 18-49 rating since April 3 and generated NBC's second-biggest overall audience in the time period since March 27, trailing over that span only the prior week's "iHeart Radio Music Awards."

The "American Comedy Awards" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET. For its second hour, from 10-11 p.m., the "American Comedy Awards" tied for #1 in among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-34.

Friday: "Dateline NBC" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +9% week to week in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.1) to win the time period among the Big 4. It's a three-week high, the top Friday "Dateline" since a special 9 p.m. edition on April 18 (1.2) and equal to the show's highest Friday rating since March 28 (1.5). "Dateline" reported NBC's highest 18-49 and 25-54 ratings in the Friday 8-9 p.m. ET hour in six weeks (since March 28).

"Grimm" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) equaled the prior week's 1.3 rating in adults 18-49, the show's highest since April 4. L+7 Time -Shifting: "Grimm" originals are growing this season by +82% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 2.58 from a 1.42) and increasing by 2.9 million persons in total viewers (8.3 million vs. 5.4 million).

"Hannibal" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 1.9 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET. L+7 Time -Shifting: "Hannibal" first-runs are increasing this season by +72% from its L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 1.48 from a 0.86) and increasing by 1.3 million persons in total viewers (3.9 million vs. 2.6 million).

Saturday: "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by +33% in both adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 rating from a 0.6), by +38% in adults 25-54 (1.1 vs. 0.8) and by +33% or more than 1.1 million persons in total viewers (4.5 million vs. 3.3 million).

A rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET), with host Seth Rogen and musical guest Ed Sheeran, maintained its 0.8 rating of the prior week in 18-49 and grew week to week by +7% in total viewers (to 2.8 million from 2.6 million). The 10 p.m. "SNL" encore grew from half-hour to half-hour in all key measures, including gains of +29% in adults 18-49 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.7) and +22% in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.5 million).

Sunday: From 7-8:19 p.m. ET, NBC carried overrun coverage of Players Championship golf and averaged a 0.7/3 in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall..

"Dateline NBC" aired from 8:19-9 p.m. ET and delivered a 0.6 rating, 2 share in 18-49 and 3.3 million viewers overall.

Night 1 of "Rosemary's Baby" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) equaled NBC's top 18-49 rating in the time period since March 23. For its first hour from 9-10 p.m., "Rosemary's Baby" tied for #2 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49. Night 1 of "Rosemary's Baby" built on its lead-in from the 8:30-9 p.m. half-hour (0.7) by +57% or 0.4 of a rating point in adults 18-49.
