During the week of November 3, 2014, ABC ran in a near-tie for No. 1 with NBC in Adults 18-49 (2.1/7 vs. 2.2/7) based on all programming, while winning the week in Nielsen's non-sports averages by 38% over its nearest competition (2.2/7 vs. 1.6/5 - CBS). The Net delivered 5 of the Top 20 TV shows in Adults 18-49, including the No. 1 entertainment broadcast program ("CMA Awards") and the Top 4 broadcast dramas ("Scandal," "HTGAWM," "Once Upon a Time" and "Grey's," respectively). "Dancing" was TV's most-watched unscripted series for the 3rd week in a row, outdrawing both editions of NBC's "The Voice." ABC's "20/20" hit a season high to rank as the week's No. 1 newsmagazine in Adults 18-49.

· Hitting season highs in Total Viewers (8.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.1/7-tie), ABC marked its most-watched non-Oscar week since in nearly 1 year - since w/o 11/18/13. In addition, ABC was up from the same week last year in Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%).

· Season to date through 7 complete weeks, ABC claims 6 of broadcast TV's Top 15 entertainment series in Adults 18-49 (most for any net), including the Top 2 dramas with "HTGAWM" (No. 1) and "Scandal" (No. 2), as well as the No. 1 freshman comedy with "black-ish."

Monday

ABC was the most-watched broadcaster on Monday (11.2 million). For the 2nd week in a row, ABC's "Dancing" finished as Monday's most-watched telecast (13.1 million).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:01 p.m. - 13.1 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49):

"Dancing with the Stars" drew a larger audience than NBC's "The Voice" for the 3rd consecutive week (by a best-yet 1.0 million - 13.1 million vs. 12.1 million). "DWTS" was up week to week in Total Viewers (+4% - 13.1 million vs. 12.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (+5% - 2.0/6 vs. 1.9/5), drawing its largest overall audience and matching its best young adult demo performance since its season premiere 7 weeks ago - since 9/15/14. "Dancing" led Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" from 9:00-10:00 p.m. for the 7th week running (by a best-yet +33% - 2.0/6 vs. 1.5/4). "DWTS" once again ranked as Monday's most social broadcast series (84,897 tweets).

"Countdown to the CMA Awards" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 7.4 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49):

In the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's lead-up special to Wednesday's "48th Annual CMA Awards" broadcast, "Countdown to the CMA Awards: 15 Songs that Changed Country Music with Robin Roberts," spiked over the year-ago special ("In the Spotlight" on 11/5/13) in Total Viewers (+118% - 7.4 million vs. 3.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (+71% - 1.2/4 vs. 0.7/2).

Tuesday

"Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.4 million and 1.2/3 in AD18-49):

In the 9 o'clock hour, ABC's special "Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!" (1.2/3) beat NBC's comedies by 9% in Adults 18-49 ("Marry Me"/"About a Boy"=1.1/3).

Wednesday

"The 48th Annual CMA Awards" (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 16.3 million and 4.5/14 in AD18-49):

With its broadcast of "The 48th Annual CMA Awards," ABC towered over Wednesday night, ranking No. 1 in each half-hour and beating 2nd-place CBS by 7.5 million viewers (16.3 million vs. 8.8 million) and 125% in Adults 18-49 (4.5/14 vs. 2.0/6) - ABC's Adult 18-49 winning margin was up year to year (from a 114% advantage last year). In fact the wide-appealing country music awards show swept the evening, winning in Total Viewers, all key Adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54), Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11. It was ABC's 2nd consecutive year to win the opening Wednesday of the November Sweep.

· In viewers and young adults, the Net marked its strongest performance on any night with entertainment programming in 8 months - since the "Academy Awards" on 3/2/14.

· "The CMA Awards" was on par with its year-ago telecast in viewers and young adults (16.8 million and 4.7/13 on 11/06/13) and was up for the 2nd year in Teens 12-17 (+4%) and Kids 2-11 (+19%) to its best numbers since 2011.

· ABC's "CMA Awards" topped CBS' April telecast of the "ACM Awards" by strong margins (14.2 million and 3.3/9 on 4/6/14) in Total Viewers (+15%) and Adults 18-49 (+36%).

· "The 48th Annual CMA Awards" was Wednesday's most-social broadcast with 1,043,707 tweets.

Thursday

ABC won its 2nd straight Thursday of the November Sweep in Adults 18-49, beating runner-up CBS by 29% (2.7/8 vs. 2.1/7). In addition, the Net more than doubled the young adult results for NBC (+145% - 1.1/3) and Fox (+170% - 1.0/3). ABC was up week to week in viewers (+11%) and young adults (+8%).

· ABC's "Scandal" (2.9/9), "How to Get Away with Murder" (2.8/9) and "Grey's" (2.4/7) stood as Thursday's Top 3 dramas in Adults 18-49 (over CBS' "Elementary," NBC's "Parenthood" and Fox's "Bones" and "Gracepoint") and trailed only CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" as the highest-rated series of the night.

· The Net built sharply from the year-ago November Sweep Thursday (7.0 million and 2.1/6 on 11/7/13), spiking 29% in viewers and 29% in young adults. And season to date, ABC's Thursday is up by double digits from the same point last year in Total Viewers (+29%) and Adults 18-49 (+21%) for its best season start on the night in 5 years - since the comparable weeks of the 2009-10 season.

"Grey's Anatomy" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 8.1 million and 2.4/7 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., despite facing "Big Bang Theory" for the first time, ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" returned from the prior week's pre-emption steady in Adults 18-49 (2.4/7 vs. 2.5/8). "Grey's" dominated its drama competition in the hour (Fox's "Bones") by 2.5 million viewers (8.1 million vs. 5.6 million) and by 85% in Adults 18-49 (2.4/7 vs. 1.3/4). In the 8:30 p.m. half-hour, "Grey's" beat out CBS' "Big Bang"-driven "Mom" in Adults 18-49 (2.5/7 vs. 2.4/7).

"Scandal" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 9.8 million and 2.9/9 in AD18-49):

At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Scandal" shot to the top of its hour in Adults 18-49 (2.9/9), outdelivering CBS' comedies by 61% ("Two and a Half Men"/"The McCarthys" = 1.8/5), NBC's comedies by 263% ("Bad Judge"/"A to Z" = 0.8/2) and Fox's "Gracepoint" by 314% (0.7/2).

· The ABC drama gained 7% in viewers week to week (9.8 million vs. 9.2 million) and was on par in Adults (2.9/9 vs. 3.1/9), while building on its own year-ago telecast at 10:00 p.m. (8.7 million and 2.8/8 on 11/7/13) in viewers (+13%) and young adults (+4%).

"How to Get Away with Murder" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 9.2 million and 2.8/9 in AD18-49):

From 10:00-11:00 p.m., ABC's "How to Get Away with Murder" (2.8/9) beat its combined drama competition for the 2nd week in a row in Adults 18-49, surpassing CBS' "Elementary" by 133% (1.2/4) and NBC's "Parenthood" by 115% (1.3/4). The new ABC drama was the most-watched TV show overall in the slot for the 2nd week running (9.2 million). "Murder" grew week to week in Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%).

· On average, "HTGAWM" is both the season's No. 1 broadcast drama and top-rated new series with Adults 18-49.

Friday

ABC won Friday by 33% in Adults 18-49 over its nearest competitors (1.6/6 vs. 1.2/4 - CBS and NBC tied). It was the Net's 2nd consecutive November Sweep Friday to lead the pack. ABC was up 7% week to week in Adults 18-49.

· ABC's "Shark Tank" was Friday's No. 1 TV show in Adults 18-49 (2.0/7), claiming the top series rank on the evening for the 7th straight week this season. The show matched its most-watched telecast overall this season, tying the prior week (7.8 million).

· ABC's "20/20" (1.7/6) was the No. 2 TV show of the night in Adults 18-49 and continued its run as the night's No. 1 newsmagazine in key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54) over NBC's "Dateline." In fact, "20/20" hit season highs in Total Viewers (6.9 million), Adults 25-54 (2.2/7-tie) and Adults 18-49 (1.7/6).

· The Net built over the same Friday last November in viewers and young adults (6.2 million and 1.5/5 on 11/8/13). Season to date, ABC's Friday is up in Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%), posting its top-rated start to a season on the night in 7 years with young adults - since the comparable weeks of 2007-08.

"Last Man Standing" (8:00-8:31 p.m. - 6.7 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., "Last Man Standing" tied for No. 1 in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5) and built for the 2nd week in a row (+8%) to equal a season high.

"Cristela" (8:31-9:00 p.m. - 4.9 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

At 8:30 p.m., "Cristela" held steady week to week in Adults 18-49 (1.0/4).

"Shark Tank" (9:00-10:01 p.m. - 7.8 million and 2.0/7 in AD18-49):

Doubling its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. (+100%), ABC's "Shark Tank" topped its hour by 54% in Adults 18-49 over its closest competition (2.0/7 vs. 1.3/5 - NBC's "Grimm"). "Shark Tank" held steady week to week in Total Viewers (7.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0/7) to match its strongest performance this season. In addition, the ABC unscripted series captured 7% more viewers year to year (7.3 million on 11/8/13).

"20/20" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 6.9 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49):

During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "20/20" won its slot in Adults 18-49 (1.7/6) by strong double-digit advantages over CBS' "Blue Bloods" (+31% - 1.3/5) and NBC's "Constantine" (+70% - 1.0/3). The ABC newsmagazine also ranked No. 1 in the hour with Adults 25-54 (2.2/7-tie). Growing to a season-high performance, "20/20" was also up sharply from the same night last year in Total Viewers (+15%), Adults 25-54 (+16%) and Adults 18-49 (+21%).

Saturday

ABC was up over the prior week by 95% in Total Viewers (7.2 million vs. 3.7 million) and by 100% in Adults 18-49 (2.0/7 vs. 1.0/3) to deliver its 2nd-best performance on the night this season.

· ABC's "Saturday Night Football" shot up week to week by 89% in Total Viewers (6.8 million vs. 3.6 million) and by 122% in Adults 18-49 (2.0/7 vs. 0.9/3) to hit 3-week highs - since 10/18/14.

Sunday

Facing Sunday Night Football (Bears-Packers) on NBC and another big NFL overrun on Fox (Giants-Seahawks), ABC beat its Sunday non-sports competition on CBS by 14% in Adults 18-49 (1.6/4 vs. 1.4/4). ABC's "Once Upon a Time" (60,302 tweets) and "Revenge" (24,232 tweets) were the most-social entertainment broadcasts on Sunday, respectively.

· The Network was up from the same night last November (5.6 million and 1.4/4 on 11/10/13) in Total Viewers (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+14%).

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m. - 6.7 million 1.5/4 in AD18-49):

During the 7:00 p.m. hour, opposite Fox's NFL overrun, ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" was up for its 2nd-straight telecast in viewers (+10% - 6.7 million vs. 6.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (+25% - 1.5/4 vs. 1.2/3) to deliver new season highs on both counts.

"Once Upon a Time" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 7.4 million and 2.5/7 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Once Upon a Time" took second to Sunday Night Football in the hour among Adults 18-49 (2.5/7), beating Fox's NFL-fueled comedies ("The Simpsons"/"Brooklyn 9-9" = 2.4/7) and CBS' "Madam Secretary" (1.4/4). The show was on par with its week-ago numbers.

· "Once Upon a Time" grew from its year-ago telecast for the 7th-straight week in Adults 18-49 (+19% - 2.1/5 on 11/10/13) and season to date, the ABC drama is up 13% over the same point last year.

"Resurrection" (9:00-10:01 p.m. - 4.6 million and 1.2/3 in AD18-49):

At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Resurrection" held steady with ABC's year-ago telecast of "Revenge" in the hour with Adults 18-49 (1.2/3 vs. 1.3/3).

"Revenge" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 5.3 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49):

Building on its lead-in during the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "Revenge" gained for the 2nd week in viewers (+13% - 5.3 million vs. 4.7 million) and young adults (+8% - 1.3/4 vs. 1.2/4), drawing its biggest audience this season and equaling a season high with Adults 18-49.
