NBC Fine-Tunes New 2004-05 Fall Schedule with Three New Episodes of 'Hawaii' Within One Week While 'Lax' and 'Las Vegas' Shift Premieres by One Week

NBC FINE-TUNES NEW 2004-05 FALL SCHEDULE WITH THREE NEW EPISODES OF �HAWAII� WITHIN ONE WEEK WHILE �LAX� AND �LAS VEGAS� SHIFT PREMIERES BY ONE WEEK

NBC Also Initiates New 90-Minute Preview of "Last Comic Standing" Following Expanded 90-Minute "Fear Factor" on August 30

BURBANK, Calif. -� August 17, 2004 -� NBC has made some final tweaks to its early launch of the 2004-05 Fall primetime program schedule by broadcasting three original episodes of 'Hawaii" between September 1-8 and by shifting the premieres of the new drama "LAX" and returning hit "Las Vegas" by one week to September 13.

Among other changes, "Father of the Pride" � which premieres on Tuesday, Aug. 31 (9-9:30 p.m. ET) � will have encore presentations on Thursday, Sept. 2 (9:30-10 p.m. ET) and Saturday, Sept. 4 (8-8:30 p.m.). Likewise, "Last Comic Standing" � the new summer hit that moved into the Fall lineup last month � will be featured in a special preview on Monday, Aug. 30 (9:30-11 p.m. ET) following the season premiere of "Fear Factor" (now 8-9:30 p.m. ET). "Last Comic Standing" then will join the fall program schedule in its regular day and time on Tuesday, Aug. 31 (8-9 p.m. ET).

"Hawaii" � the new drama concerning the Honolulu police force that is filmed entirely on the lush island location � will now premiere in its regular day and time period on Wednesday, Sept. 1 (8-9 p.m. ET). In addition, "Hawaii" will program a bonus episode five days later on Monday, Sept. 6 (9-10 p.m. ET) and then will follow with another new episode in its regular day and time on Wednesday, Sept. 8 (8-9 p.m. ET).

"LAX" � which stars Heather Locklear ("Spin City") and Blair Underwood ("L.A. Law") as rivals who run Los Angeles International Airport � will take off one week later from its previously announced date of Monday, Sept. 6 as it moves to Monday, Sept. 13 (10-11 p.m. ET). "Las Vegas � the top-rated freshman drama of 2003-04 � also is slotted one week later from Monday, Sept. 6 to Monday, Sept. 13 (9-10 p.m. ET) for its second season premiere.

All other previously announced Fall program premiere dates will remain intact.
