New York, NY (June 20, 2005) Continuing the commitment to provide a brilliantly weird and hilarious mix of programming in the Sic Em Friday lineup, MTV2 today unleashed three new series, and the pickup of three returning programs for the popular Friday night block. Joining the line-up is a clever new animated series co-created by Orlando Jones, Chico & Guapo; an outrageous collection of pranks, stunts and cartoons known as Stankervision; plus, the return of the ultimate celebrity face-off, Celebrity Deathmatch with brand new episodes just for MTV2. The network also announced that it has picked up the antics of Wildboyz, Team Sanchez, and Damage Control for new seasons.

Weve broken all the rules at MTV2 by delivering unique, breakthrough programming that reflects the adventurous attitude of our audience, said David Cohn, GM of MTV2. "Led by the efforts of Carol Eng, SVP of MTV2 Programming and Development, and her team, we'll continue to build upon the momentum of the Sic Em Friday lineup with new, irreverent shows, along with returning faves, in the months to come.

MTV2 has created a distinct, subversive sensibility," stated Brian Graden, President of Programming, MTV Networks Music Group & LOGO. "By building upon its rich music positioning with a complementary programming block, the network is getting buzz and pulling in the audience in record numbers."

The first season of MTV2s Sic Em Fridays was wildly successful, especially among young males, reaching more than 15 million viewers during its eight week run. The block, which premiered in March, featured the series Wildboyz, Team Sanchez, Wonder Showzen, and Damage Control. Together, they posted a 111% ratings gain among males 18-24 as compared to the four weeks prior to the Sic Em Friday launch.
