FLASH, THE (The CW) - Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne is the latest alum due back this season under yet-to-be-revealed circumstances. (@RickCosnett)
FURNISS (AMC) - The cable channel has opened a writers' rooms for the drama project with an eye towards a straight-to-series order. The series revolves around "a teenage orphan's new life with her birth father and his family, complicated by her connection to secret supernatural events in their rural town." Writer Macon Blair and director Fede Alvarez are behind the project, which is based on an idea by Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues. Chapter 11's Kyle Killen and Scott Pennington will also executive produce alongside Melanie Marnich for Paramount Television, Anonymous Content and AMC Studios. AMC is likewise shepherding "Dietland" in a similar fashion. (Deadline.com)
HUMANS (AMC) - Creators Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley have inked an overall deal with the cable channel. Season two of the drama rolls out on February 13. (Deadline.com)
NIGHT OF, THE/TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO) - The pay channel is "closing in on ideas that they are excited about" for new seasons of the respective anthology series. No scripts however have been commissioned. David Milch's "Deadwood" movie however has had no movement with no script completed. (Deadline.com)
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (FOX) - The network is having "lengthy conversations with the producers" for a 14th installment of the series for the upcoming summer. (Deadline.com)
SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - David Haydn-Jones has been cast as the mysterious Mr. Ketch, "an associate of the British Men of Letters" who's billed as "suave, handsome, totally competent - and a sociopath." (Deadline.com)
TIMELESS (NBC) - Misha Collins ("Supernatural") has been cast as Untouchables leader Eliot Ness in an upcoming episode of the series. (TVLine.com)
