AT THAT AGE (NBC) - Christian Keyes is the latest addition to the drama pilot - an exploration of an African-American family's legacy - as Jabari Patterson, "Samantha's younger brother." (Deadline.com)
BRIDES, THE (ABC) - Goran Višnjić has been cast as Count Dracula in the genre drama pilot, "the powerful, ageless, and iconic King of Night who "turned" each of his three brides, Dracula is left for dead at his destroyed castle in the Carpathian mountains while his three wives - Cleo, Renée, and Lily - flee to start a new life together." CLEANING LADY, THE (FOX) - Vincent Piazza is set as a lead opposite Shannyn Sossamon in the drama pilot. He'll play Gavin Ross: "A recently promoted analyst, FBI Special Agent Gavin Ross is intelligent, compassionate and astute, always looking for new angles to see beyond the obvious and look below the surface. It's here that he encounters Reyna - and finds new purpose after a tragic personal loss." (Deadline.com)
DASH & LILY (Netflix) - Agneeta Thacker, Leah Kreitz and Ianne Fields Stewart will all recur on the upcoming Austin Abrams/Midori Francis-led holiday series. Thacker will play Priya, "an Upper East Side party girl and frenemy to Dash"; with Kreitz as Aryn, "a vegan riot grrl who's an older friend to Lily"; and Stewart as Roberta, "the Den mother of a group of East Village Christmas carolers." GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Anthony Hill and Sherri Saum are bound for the show's March 26 episode as Winston, "a past resident at Tufts who Maggie used to work with"; and "an old friend of Teddy's," respectively. (Deadline.com)
IMPULSE (YouTube) - Showrunner Lauren LeFranc took to social media with the news that the series has been canceled after two seasons. (@LaurenLeFran)
KIDS MATTER NOW (ABC, New!) - Writer Shana Goldberg-Meehan and director Christine Gernon have scored a late pilot order from the Alphabet for a multi-camera comedy about "a diva boss with no patience for working parents who adopts a baby and has a change of heart, casting her mother-of-three assistant as an unlikely mentor and upending the office dynamics." CBS Television Studios and 20th Century Fox Television are co-producing. (Deadline.com)
KUNG FU (The CW) - Gavin Stenhouse and Gwendoline Yeo have both landed roles on the reboot series pilot. Stenhouse will play Evan Hartley, "a highly successful Assistant District Attorney who still has a soft spot for his first love, Nicky, when she returns home." And Yeo is set as Zhilan, "a cryptic woman with deep criminal ties and a mysterious connection to the Shaolin monastery where Nicky trained in Kung Fu. Her quest for power led her to murder Nicky's mentor, proving that she will be a determined and dangerous foe." (Deadline.com)
LA BREA (NBC) - Rita Angel Taylor has been tapped for the high-concept drama pilot as Lilly Castillo, "Veronica's much younger sister and Aaron's other daughter." (Deadline.com)
MAVERICK (The CW) - Mark Moses and Pete Ploszek are the latest additions to the Reina Hardesty-led drama pilot. Moses plays Charles Price, "Kit's father and the president of the United States who has a devoted following and a soft spot for his daughter. He commands the country with dignity and charm, but his plans for keeping his citizens safe are more nefarious than they seem." And Ploszek is Sebastian, "Kit's easygoing and intelligent older half-brother. He is Kit's rock after the death of her mom and her most trusted confidant. As a member of his father's administration, he might know more about his father's dark goals than he lets on." (Deadline.com)
MULLIGAN (Netflix, New!) - Robert Carlock and Sam Means are set to team for an animated comedy at the streaming service in which "after an alien attack destroys the earth, what remains of humanity has the chance to start society over from scratch. But can we get it right this time? And does anyone know how to, like, farm?" The project, which has a 20-episode commitment, with Means, Bevel Gears' Carlock, Little Stranger's Tina Fey and Eric Gurian, 3 Arts Entertainment's David Miner, and Bento Box's Scott Greenberg and Joel Kuwahara executive producing for Universal Television. UNITED STATES OF AL/THE THREE OF US (CBS) - Sitcom veteran Mark Cendrowski has been tapped to helm - and presumably executive produce - both multi-camera comedy pilots. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED PHIL AUGUSTA JACKSON PROJECT (NBC) - Nicole Byer and Aaron Jennings have both scored roles on the ensemble single-camera comedy pilot. Byer will play Nicky; while Jennings will play Anthony Holmes, "who's happy with his career and has a strong work commitment." (Deadline.com)
