BRAVO EXPLORES THE INTERSECTION OF SENSUALITY AND ART WITH THE PREMIERES OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTARY 'LOVESICK' AND LIMITED SERIES 'FORTY DEUCE' ON APRIL 7

'LOVESICK' DOCUMENTARY PRESENTS A COMPELLING LOOK AT THE PROVOCATIVE STORIES BEHIND CIRQUE DU SOLEIL'S 'ZUMANITY'

'FORTY DEUCE' IS A FOUR-PART ORIGINAL SERIES FOLLOWING THE LIVES OF THE OWNER AND DANCERS OF RED-HOT HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITY CLUB FORTY DEUCE

BURBANK -- March 28, 2005 -- Bravo explores the intersection of sensuality and art, as well as the passionate performers who dance that edge, with the original premieres of both the four-part series "Forty Deuce" (11:00 p.m.- midnight ET) and the documentary "Lovesick" (midnight- 2:00 a.m. ET) on Thursday, April 7.

"Lovesick," to premiere exclusively in the U.S. on Bravo, proves that the showbiz life is never an easy one. This documentary takes a provocative look at the intense personal lives of five artists that left family, friends and home behind to take part in the creation of "Zumanity"--another side of Cirque du Soleil-- a sensual cabaret in Las Vegas. Backstage, the pressure mounts and tempers flare. The artists live in a sensual world, a universe both shameless and chaotic that will challenge their limits and force them to redefine their identities.

For this, Bravo delves into the lives of Joey, a New York City drag queen who has finally made it big, only to learn the unwritten rules of the Strip; Alex, the sexy Latino dancer with a fretful girlfriend, a child from a previous marriage; Jonel, who plans to wed her Canadian boyfriend, but learns newfound sexual freedom from her explicit act; Laetitia, who struggles with the show's sexual nature, but is also intrigued by the boundaries she is able to cross; and Andrew, Creative Director, who has left his family behind in Montreal and must now bring his cast together despite a power struggle for creative control of the show.

"Lovesick" is a film by Lewis Cohen and executive produced by Arnie Gelbart, Martin Bolduc, and Vincent Gagn?. "Lovesick" is co-produced by Galafilm and Cr?ations Musca, a subsidiary of Cirque du Soleil Images.

Leading up to "Lovesick" is the premiere of Bravo's "Forty Deuce." The series takes viewers into the exclusive world of Ivan Kane and the private lives of this nightlife visionary, his wife and business partner Champagne Suzy, and his dancers -- including popular headliner Carolina Cerisola ? and chronicles Kane's aspirations to open a new club in Las Vegas' celebrated Mandalay Bay.

Forget what you think you know about Los Angeles nightlife and Forty Deuce ? a popular late night destination for the city's movers and shakers and A-List celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Sharon Stone, Brad Pitt, Nicole Kidman, Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson, and many others ? for beneath the brassy exterior are the real lives and ambitions of Kane, Champagne Suzy, and dancers. It's far from what one might expect, as all are passionate dancers, artists and, in true sense, family.

Watch what happens as Bravo delves into the private lives of Kane and his wife and business partner Champagne Suzy as they recruit their new crop of talented dancers and prepare for the opening of Forty Deuce Las Vegas, as well as set the stage for additional nightclubs nationwide. Through revealing interviews viewers will learn what drives Kane, his wife, and the dancers, and how it is they've created a family for themselves that's in stark contrast to what one would expect from a Hollywood nightclub proprietor and his talent. And in the end, Bravo will explore the artistic freedom inherent in burlesque and why these women are compelled to give it their all and come alive on stage each night under the lights and to the accompaniment of the three piece band.

"Forty Deuce" is directed by Zalman King ("Nine ? Weeks," "Red Shoe Diaries"), and produced by The Zalman King Company for Bravo. Executive producers are Zalman King, Ivan Kane and David Saunders.
