BECOMING GLEN (FOX) - Erinn Hayes ("Significant Others") is set to star opposite Rob Corddry in the comedy pilot, about a successful man who looks back at 1994, when he was a 32-year-old slacker (Corddry) living with his parents and pining for his childhood sweetheart, who moves back in next door. She'll play said sweetheart, Alison Miller, in the 20th Century Fox Television-based project, which comes from creators Ricky Blitt and Seth MacFarlane. Her character is described in the casting notice as: "Early 30s, drop dead beautiful, in a classy, natural way, a brilliant doctor, and possessor of a dry, offbeat, self deprecating wit. In other words, she has it all, but is so likeable and kind, no woman or man ever hates her for her many attributes. She is unaware of Glen's feelings for her, she assumes he, like her, is a normal human adult who has long forgotten about the kiss she and Glen shared eighteen years ago. She loves Glen for becoming a "surrogate Dad" to her neurotic, socially withdrawn son, never suspecting for a second that 32 years old Glen is actually Josh's best friend, holed up in rooms studying "Our Bodies, Ourselves" with him. She will eventually be Glen's love interest, but right now, only Glen is aware the two of them are in a "relationship"." Keir Gilchrist and Julie Hagerty also star in the half-hour, which Terry Hughes is directing from a script by Blitt and MacFarlane.

DAY BREAK (ABC) - Meta Golding ("J.A.G.") has joined the cast of the drama pilot, about an L.A.-based cop (Taye Diggs) who's trying to stop the murder of a loved one while trying to find the person who framed him for murder. She'll play Jennifer, the sister of Hopper (Diggs's character), in the Touchstone Television/Gross Entertainment-based project, which comes from creator Paul Zbyszewski and executive producer Matthew Gross. Rob Bowman is directing the hour from a script by Zbyszewski.

EDISON (CBS) - Currie Graham ("Desperate Housewives") has joined the cast of the John Leguizamo-led drama pilot, about a Los Angeles detective (Leguizamo) who relies on impersonations and disguises to solve crimes. He'll play Capt. Mayhew in the project, which comes from CBS Paramount Network Television, Touchstone Television and Mandeville Films. Terri Hughes and Ron Milbauer wrote the pilot script and are executive producing the hour with David Hoberman.

ENEMIES (ABC) - Jeffrey Donovan ("Touching Evil") has been tapped for one of the lead roles in the drama pilot, about two former childhood best friends who become sworn enemies - one becoming a cop, the other a mobster. Donovan will play said mobster in the project, which comes from Touchstone Television and executive producers Sean Bailey and Ken Olin. His character, Mickey Callaway, is described in the casting notice as: "30s. He's a suave, Armani-clad mobster who is destined to become the most sophisticated and powerful Chicago present day criminal. Callaway is maneuvering his way up the ladder of organized crime, but he's an operator more along the lines of Mike Ovitz than Don Corleone, although he never hesitates to get his hands dirty - or bloody, for that matter. In adolescence, Callaway was best friends with Graham, who even married Callaway's favorite sister, Susan. Callaway has secrets which make him vulnerable and he will go to great lengths to protect them. Also, Callaway views Graham as a growing threat to his criminal dominance. A hell-raiser in his youth, Callaway has evolved into a masterly wheeler-dealer whose treacherous subterfuges always leave him on top of the mounting pile of bodies. However, he knows that Graham is the one man with the raw courage to defy and outwit him - and that liability is making his trigger-finger increasingly itchy." F. Gary Gray is directing the hour, which also stars Bruce McGill.

NINE LIVES (ABC) - Kim Raver ("24") is the latest addition to the ensemble cast of the drama pilot, about the lives of nine strangers who share a bond after experiencing a 52-hour hostage crisis that stems from a bank robbery that goes bad. She joins the previously cast Chi McBride, Jessica Collins, Scott Wolf, Lourdes Benedicto, John Billingsley and Owain Yeoman in the Warner Bros. Television-based hour, which comes from creators Hank and K.J. Steinberg. Alex Graves is directing from a script by the duo.

'TIL DEATH (FOX) - Eddie Kaye Thomas ("American Pie") is the first to be cast in the comedy pilot, about newlyweds who move in next door to a couple that has been married for 25 years. Thomas is set as Jeff in the Sony Pictures Television-based half-hour, which comes from creators Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa.

UGLY BETTY (ABC) - Ashley Jensen ("Extras") has joined the cast of the drama pilot, about the life of an unattractive but efficient secretary (America Ferrera) at a fashion magazine. She'll play Betty's (Ferrera) best friend in the project, which also stars Becki Newton, Eric Mabius and Ana Ortiz. Richard Shepard is directing the Touchstone Television-based project from a script by Silvio Horta with Horta, Reveille's Ben Silverman and Ventanarosa's Salma Hayek and Jose Tamez executive producing.

UNTITLED DONAL LOGUE PROJECT (ABC) - Maz Jobrani ("Life on a Stick") has joined the cast of the single-camera comedy pilot, about a group of blue-collar guys in New York City who decide to rob a celebrity. He'll play Gourishanker "Gary" Subramaniam, who's described in the casting notice as: "40s, an East Indian cab driver, energetic and argumentative. Speaks with Indian accent. A fast-talking, hot-headed, overly sensitive cab driver. He's rather slick, and fancies himself a ladies' man." Donal Logue, Sofia Vergara, Kevin Michael Richardson, Lenny Venito and Josh Grisetti also star in the Touchstone Television/Worldwide Pants-based half-hour, which comes from creators Rob Burnett and Jon Beckerman.

UNTITLED AQUAMAN PROJECT (The CW) - Justin Hartley ("Passions") has been tapped to take over the lead role in the drama pilot, a small screen take on the DC Comics hero of the same name. He'll take over for Will Toale as Arthur Curry, the twentysomething owner of a dive shop who's actually the lost king of Atlantis, in the project. No specific reason was given for the change. Greg Beeman is directing the Warner Bros. Television-based hour from a script by Miles Millar and Alfred Gough. Ving Rhames and Denise Quinones also star.

THE WEDDING ALBUM (FOX, New!) - FOX is moving forward with a long-in-the-works drama about a wedding photographer and his assistant who attempt to find romance in their own lives while shooting the marriages of New York hotshots. The Fox Television Studios-based project, which comes from feature director Andy Tennant ("Hitch"), has been given a pilot order by the network with Tennant directing from a script he co-wrote with Wink Mordaunt. The pair then will serve as executive producers along with Robert Greenblatt and David Janollari. Tennant originally sold the pilot script to FOX during the 2001-02 season, where it was set up at the now-defunct Greenblatt-Janollari Studio.
