"Top Chef" Wins For Outstanding Achievement in Picture Editing

NEW YORK � September 15, 2008 � Now Kathy Griffin has two Emmys to keep polished, picking up her second, back-to-back Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program for Bravo's critically-acclaimed "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" at the 60th Annual Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday, September 13 in Los Angeles.

"I am promptly delivering my second Emmy to my mother, who is sitting at home in a mumu with a box of wine waiting to salute my dad," said Griffin.

Griffin's show beat out "Antiques Roadshow," "Dirty Jobs," "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" and "Intervention." The only network to dominate this category, "D-List's" Emmy marks Bravo's fourth win in six years for the Outstanding Reality Program category, ("Cirque Du Soleil: Fire" in 2003, "Queer Eye" in 2004 and "My Life on the D-List" in 2007). "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" is produced by Picture This for Bravo.

Additionally, Bravo's multiple Emmy-nominated series and James Beard Award winner "Top Chef" won an Emmy this weekend for Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming for the episode entitled "First Impressions." Emmys were presented to editors Kevin Leffler, Vikash Patel, Marc Clark, Annie Tighe, Steve Lichtenstein, Sue Hoover and Katherine Griffin. "Top Chef" is produced by Magical Elves.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) awarded the 2007-2008 Creative Arts Primetime Emmys for programs and individual achievements at the 60th Annual Emmy Awards presentation at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles. Emmys were presented in over 70 categories.
