SYFY'S HIT SERIES "WAREHOUSE 13" AND "ALPHAS" RETURN TO POWERFUL MONDAYS BEGINNING JULY 23

"LOST GIRL" MOVES TO FRIDAYS AT 10PM STARTING JULY 20

NEW YORK - July 16, 2012 - Syfy's potent one-two punch of hit series Warehouse 13 and Alphas will return to Powerful Mondays beginning Monday, July 23, from 9-11PM (ET/PT).

Starting Friday, July 20, Lost Girl will move to its new time slot at 10PM (ET/PT).

Season 4 of Warehouse 13, comprising 10 episodes, will premiere at 9PM (ET/PT). The season opens with the team confronting the horrible reality of the Warehouse's destruction and the tragic loss of Steve Jinks (Aaron Ashmore), Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) and H.G. Wells (Jaime Murray). With matters so desperate, Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly), Artie (Saul Rubinek) and Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) must decide whether to knowingly use a dangerous artifact for their own personal gain - at the risk of deadly consequences.

Among this year's guest stars will be Sam Huntington (Being Human), Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager), Brent Spiner (Star Trek: Next Generation), Rene Auberjonois (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Brian J. Smith (Stargate Universe) and Amy Acker (Angel, Dollhouse).

During season three, Warehouse 13 averaged 3.3 million total viewers and a series record 1.6 million Adults 18-49, based on Live +7 data. The most watched series in Syfy history, Warehouse 13 is produced for Syfy by Universal Cable Productions. Jack Kenny (The Book of Daniel) is executive producer and showrunner.

The second half of Warehouse 13's fourth season (10 episodes) will air in April 2013.

In season 2 of Syfy's action-packed hit drama series Alphas - returning at 10PM (ET/PT) - a clandestine group of ordinary people with superhuman mental and physical abilities, led by preeminent neurologist and psychiatrist Dr. Lee Rosen (Emmy Award-winner and Academy Award-nominee David Strathairn), takes on cases the CIA, FBI and Pentagon are unwilling or unable to solve going head-to-head with many of the criminal Alphas hiding among the normal population.

The new season picks up eight months after last year's stunning season finale with the stage set for an explosive turn of events at the Binghamton facility (the Guantanamo of the Alpha world) that could have devastating, far-reaching consequences. Dr. Lee Rosen, having exposed the existence of Alphas to the unsuspecting public, finds himself discredited and imprisoned by a government desperate to cover up his stunning revelation. Some of the team have disbanded and without Dr. Rosen's care and guidance, have regressed to their old, destructive ways. They must now battle their individual demons, reunite and try to save their own.

Alphas also stars Malik Yoba, Warren Christie, Azita Ghanizada, Ryan Cartwright and Laura Mennell. Erin Way (Detroit 187, Private Practice) joins the cast this season as Kat, a mysterious young loner, whose Alpha ability is perfect muscle memory, making her a "quick study." But while her skills may be permanent, her personal memories are short-lived.

This season's guest stars include Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings), C. Thomas Howell (Southland), Lauren Holly (NCIS), Kandyse McClure (Battlestar Galactica), Noah Reid (Titanic/Miniseries), and Steve Byers (Immortals). Returning guest stars include John Pyper-Ferguson (Brothers and Sisters) as Stanton Parrish, Kathleen Munroe (Haven) as Dani Rosen and Mahershala Ali (Treme) as Agent Nathan Cley. In addition, Summer Glau (Last Resort, Dollhouse) will return as Skylar Adams, an Alpha who once again is enlisted to assist the team.

Alphas, which averaged 3 million total viewers, 1.5 million Adults 25-54 and 1.4 million Adults 18-49 (based on Live +7 data), is produced by Universal Cable Productions and BermanBraun Television with executive producers Bruce Miller, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun, and Gene Stein. Zak Penn and co-executive producer Michael Karnow are series creators.

Universal Cable Productions creates innovative and critically acclaimed original scripted and digital content across multiple media platforms and outlets for domestic and international distribution. UCP produces Covert Affairs, Fairly Legal, In Plain Sight, Psych, Royal Pains and Suits for USA; Alphas, Defiance, Eureka and Warehouse 13 for Syfy.
