BIG KIDS (NBC, New!) - Comedian Joe Wengert is developing a semi-autobiographical comedy at the Peacock about Andy, "a young professional with a messiah complex who is constantly trying to control and fix his little sister and their young, blue-collar parents." Universal Television is behind the half-hour with Ed Helms of the Pacific Electric Picture Co. and Claudia Lonow executive producing. Wengert will pen the script and serve as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)


DEBT (ABC Family, New!) - Rachel Carey's 2013 novel - about "a woman in her 20s, who works as an SAT tutor to try to pay off her college loans and explores how everyone she knows - even her tutee's billionaire father - is in somebody's debt" - is being developed as a drama at the cable channel. "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo is executive producing the project, via her Calamity Jane banner for ABC Signature. (THR.com)


UNTITLED RICHARD PRICE PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Richard Price ("NYC 22") has sold a potential drama to the network about "a 20-something Wall Street portfolio manager who unwittingly becomes a pawn in the DA's attempts to take down a criminal organization." Said effort, which has a penalty attached, comes from 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)
