OVERANALYZERS (Comedy Central, New!) - Echo Kellum ("Arrow") is set to star in a new pilot at the cable channel which "follows the misadventures of a diverse group of friends in their mid-twenties, one of them played by Kellum, as they navigate the fast-moving technological and cultural changes that make life as a young-ish person such a confusing and hilarious nightmare." TRAINING DAY (CBS, New!) - Will Beall's small screen take on Antoine Fuqua's 2001 feature - about "a rookie LAPD cop (Ethan Hawke) who goes on a day-long training course with a rogue detective from narcotics (Denzel Washington)" - has found a home at CBS with a pilot production commitment. Warner Bros. Television-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television is behind the hour with Fuqua returning to helm the project. As for specifics, the TV take is set 15 years after the movie and "may get a twist, with the rookie cop being black and the corrupt older cop being white." Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman will likewise executive produce with KristieAnne Reed as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

UNTITLED TIG NOTARO PROJECT (Amazon/FXP; W: Diablo Cody & Tig Notaro; D: TBA) - Noah Harpster ("Transparent") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, in which Notaro "is abruptly summoned home to Pass Christian, Miss., to take her ailing mother off life support and finds herself reconnecting with her dysfunctional Gulf Coast family and the loss of the one person who held everything together." He'll play Remy, Notaro's brother. (Deadline.com)
