AMERICAN GOTHIC (CBS/CBSP; W: Corinne Brinkerhoff; D: TBA) - Antony Starr ("Banshee") has signed onto the cast of the upcoming drama, which centers on a prominent Boston family that is attempting to redefine itself in the wake of a chilling discovery that links their recently deceased patriarch to a string of murders spanning decades, amid the mounting suspicion that one of them may have been his accomplice. He'll play Garrett, "the firstborn son of a prominent Boston political family. He inexplicably left town 17 years ago and returns home at the news of his father's heart attack." Justin Chatwin and Megan Ketch also star. (Deadline.com)


HARLEY AND THE DAVIDSONS (Discovery/Raw TV; W: Evan Wright & Seth Fisher; D: Ciàran Donnell) - Michiel Huisman, Robert Aramayo and Bug Hall are the first to be cast in the three-night, six-hour mini-series, which tells the epic story of how two 19-year-old kids from Milwaukee started a company in their backyard that would go on to become an American legend. Huisman will play Walter Davidson with Aramayo as William Harley and Hall as Arthur Davidson. Evan Wright and Seth Fisher penned the project with Ciàran Donnelly helming the opening installment. Donnelly, John Goldwyn and Dimitri Doganis then are the executive producers for Raw TV. Production is set to begin in March for a premiere later this year. (Variety.com)


JURY, THE (ABC/Sony; W: Mark Bianculli & V.J. Boyd; D: TBA) - The drama - which follows a single murder trial a season as seen through the eyes of the individual jurors, exploring the biases and experiences that influence the jurors' judgment, and how their preconceptions change along the way - has been ordered to pilot by the Alphabet. Carol Menselsohn Productions' Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


MARLON (NBC/Universal; W: Chris Moynihan & Marlon Wayans; D: TBA) - The Marlon Wayans-led comedy - about an inappropriate but loving father committed to successfully co-parenting with his polar opposite ex-wife - has scored a pilot order from the Peacock. The multi-camera project is also executive produced by Michael Rotenberg and Rick Alvarez. (Deadline.com)


POWERLESS (NBC/WBT; W: Ben Queen; D: Michael Patrick Jann) - Ben Queen's single-camera comedy, set at one of the worst insurance companies in America - with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics, is likewise heading to pilot at the network. In addition, Michael Patrick Jann has signed on to direct and executive produce the half-hour project. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED MATT HUBBARD PROJECT (NBC/Universal; W: Matt Hubbard; D: TBA) - The comedy script - about Andrew and Josie, a happily married interracial couple whose lives take a turn when they move close to Josie's family in Missouri - has been greenlit to produce a pilot. David Miner and Mike Schur will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED TRACEY WIGFIELD PROJECT (NBC/Universal; W: Tracey Wigfield; D: TBA) - The Peacock has affirmed its pilot order to the Tracey Wigfield-penned comedy, which centers on a mother-daughter relationship that is challenged when an overly involved New Jersey mom gets an internship at her daughter's workplace, a cable news network. David Miner, Robert Carlock and Tina Fey are also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)


WILL (TNT; W: Craig Pearce; D: Shekhar Kapur) - Newcomer Laurie Davidson has scored the title role on the drama pilot, which tells the wild story of young William Shakespeare's arrival onto the punk rock theater scene that was 16th century London - the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) has likewise signed on to direct the hour while Vince Gerardis, Howard Braunstein and Louise Rosager are among the executive producers. (Deadline.com)

Matthew Morrison will recur on "The Good Wife" as "the AUSA responsible for imprisoning the last four Illinois Governors" (Deadline.com); Gerald McRaney and Summer Glau are both bound for "Castle" in a Los Angeles-set outing about "a legendary and secretive private detective society" (TVLine.com); Crystal Reed will return to "Teen Wolf," but as Marie-Jeanne Valet, "one of the earliest members of the Argent family line" (TVLine.com); boy band One Direction will make a cameo on "Family Guy" (EW.com); and Jewel Staite is bound for "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" as "a tech genius/roboticist who exists in a future in which technology has an even firmer grip on our lives than it does today" (TVLine.com).
