There she meets a wounded warrior who teaches her how to hone her aggression in the form of MMA fighting. Through her training, she begins to find a sense of purpose and even a possible future, as long as the rest of the problems in her life, and her own self-destructive behavior, don't take her down first." CBS Television Studios-based Juniper Place Productions is behind the hour with Jeffrey Kramer likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
BLACK MONDAY (Showtime) - Dulé Hill and June Diane Raphael have both signed on to recur on the new season. Hill will play Marcus Wainwright III, "President of the African American Scholarship Fund"; with Raphael as Corky Harris, "the wife of ultra-conservative Congressman Harris (guest star Tuc Watkins), leading voice of the moral majority." Miller's book, subtitled "America's Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany." The book "tells the story of the American bomber boys in WWII who brought the war to Hitler's doorstep." John Orloff and Graham Yost are penning the project, which was originally set up at HBO in 2012, with Playtone's Gary Goetzman and Steven Shareshian and Amblin Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey are also among the auspices. (Deadline.com)

WALKER (The CW, New!) - The netlet has landed the proposed Jared Padalecki-led reboot of "Walker, Texas Ranger," about Cordell Walker, "a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there's harder work to be done at home. He'll attempt to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his conservative family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers' history), while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife's death."
