DRUNK HISTORY (Comedy Central) - The cable channel has opted not to move forward with the show's previously announced seventh season as part of ViacomCBS' Entertainment & Youth Group's reevaluation of its programming strategies. Said run had been pre-production prior to coronavirus pandemic. Creator Derek Waters, who has a first-look deal with the network, will segue to working on new projects. (Deadline.com)
GOOD GIRLS (NBC) - Executive producer Bill Krebs has signed a multi-year overall deal with Universal Television. The pact will keep him has co-showrunner of the series as well as cover any future development. Already in the works is his previously announced twisty romantic drama, which has set up at NBC back in June. (Deadline.com)

LEVERAGE SEQUEL SERIES (IMDb TV) - Aleyse Shannon has joined the cast of the revival as a new team member, Breanna Casey. "Breanna's special skills include being a genius mechanical engineer (just ask her about her drones) and making social hacking and social media manipulation look like child's play. Landing in the foster system after her parents' tragic car accident, Breanna got lucky finding a home with Nana, and bonus big-brother Hardison (Aldis Hodge), who reached out to the spiky, scared 10-year old by teaching her computers and hacking. As Breanna trains in new skills with the other Leverage team members, she will need to learn to embrace and trust her new family." Production the series began August 10 in New Orleans. (Deadline.com)
SWEET TOOTH (Netflix) - Neil Sandilands is the latest bound for the comic-book-turned-TV-series as Steven Abbot, "self-appointed general for a post-apocalyptic army who leads through wit, intimidation and quirkiness. He has taken advantage of the collapse of society to reinvent himself and claim power, and he revels in his vaulted position, even if he believes he is only trying to help restore his country." VERBATIM (HBO Max, New!) - Writer/director Brett Weiner has scored a pilot order from the streaming service for an anthology project based on his New York Times Op-Docs digital series which "tackles actual events with all dialogue taken from primary sources and presented verbatim." The pilot episode then "follows the story of the 2019 college admissions scandal." Red Hour Films' Nicholas Weinstock, Jackie Cohn and Ben Stiller; Left/Right Productions' Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver; and The New York Times' Kathleen Lingo will likewise executive produce with Scott Lochmus and Michelene Starnadori as producers. WHEEL OF TIME, THE (Amazon) - Sophie Okonedo, Kae Alexander, Kate Fleetwood, Peter Franzen and Clare Perkins have all booked roles on the series. Okonedo will recur as Siuan Sanche; with Alexander as Min Farshaw; Fleetwood as Liandrin Guirale; Franzen as Stepin; and Perkins as Kerene Nagashi. (Deadline.com)
YOURS, MINE & PAUL'S (ABC) - Sarah Hyland is attached to star in the multi-camera comedy, about Lauren (Hyland), "who agrees to be a surrogate for her best friend, Paul, and his husband, Xander. There's just one problem: Lauren and Xander hate each other. Oh, also Paul dies in the cold open." Julia Meltzer is behind the half-hour with Ty Burrell, Mel Cowan, Jonny Meeks and Joel Spence also executive producing for 20th Television and Desert Whale Productions. (Deadline.com)
