HBO Max Highlights - September 2020

Premiere dates for the following HBO Max Originals were announced following the distribution of our HBO Max Highlights for September 2020 memo. Please find a revised memo below with dates for these titles now included.

Fall into the exciting new original series and A-list blockbuster movies arriving this September on HBO Max.

Max Originals debuting in the month include the premiere of Ridley Scott's serialized sci-fi series Raised by Wolves, centering on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet, new film Unpregnant starring Haley Lu Richardson and Barbie Ferreira, which follows seventeen-year-old Veronica on a 900+ mile hilarious road trip to Mexico with her ex-best friend as she considers a decision she never imagined she'd have to make, and The Murders at White House Farm, a true crime story about three generations of one family murdered at their isolated farm over thirty years ago. Max Originals The Great Pottery Throw Down, the season one premiere of Haute Dog, and Mo Willems and The Storytime All-Stars Present: Don't Let The Pigeon Do Storytime! will also be debuting in the month.

Hit films including Grease, Miss Congeniality, The Bodyguard, Snakes on a Plane, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and The Wedding Singer, will also arrive on HBO Max. HBO Max's Last Chance to Watch section will include The Exorcist, Saving Private Ryan and Gremlins.

HBO Originals premiering this month includes socially distanced comedy Coastal Elites with Bette Midler, Kaitlyn Dever, Dan Levy, Sarah Paulson and Issa Rae, The Third Day starring Jude Law and Naomie Harris, and We Are Who We Are from Luca Guadagnino, which tells the story of two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy as they explore friendship, first-love, and identity. HBO Europe's Patria, which tells the story of the Spanish Basque Country threatened by the separatist terrorism of ETA through the eyes of two families divided by the violent conflict, will be available to stream in the month.

Blockbuster films such as Just Mercy, The Invisible Man, Spies in Disguise, Fandango at the Wall, A Hidden Life, Replicas, The Operative, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and Victoria and Abdul join the HBO service this month. September will be the last chance to watch Armageddon, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Madagascar before they depart the service.
