New York, NY - March 8, 2023 - The HISTORY(R) Channel greenlights the new, one-hour nonfiction series "The UnBelievable with Dan Aykroyd" (working title) hosted by award-winning actor, comedian, writer, and producer Dan Aykroyd. From fantastic people and creatures to strange places and outlandish inventions, the ten-episode series will reveal the 'Who?' 'Why?' and 'How?' surrounding some of human history's most extraordinary and astonishing tales.

Hosted by Aykroyd and featuring dynamic visuals, archival images, and expert interviews, "The UnBelievable with Dan Aykroyd" (w.t.) will uncover some of the most mysterious and bizarre inventions, creatures, people, and things throughout history. From a 440- pound Syrian bear turned military soldier to a man who survived being shot through the head with a 43- inch iron bar, the stories may appear unbelievable, but they are 100% true.

"The UnBelievable with Dan Aykroyd" (w.t.) is produced for The HISTORY Channel by Six West MediaTM group. Steve Ascher, Matt Pearl and Kristy Sabat serve as executive producers for Six West MediaTM group. Dan Aykroyd is also an executive producer. Brooke Townsend, Mike Stiller, and Mary E.
