Charles Latibeaudiere and Evan Rosenblum Named Co-Executive Producers of TMZ

August 26, 2008

Charles Latibeaudiere and Evan Rosenblum have been named to the post of Co-Executive Producers of TMZ, the number one new first-run syndicated strip. TMZ has already established itself in its first season as the youngest magazine in syndication. The announcement was made today by TMZ Executive Producers Harvey Levin and Jim Paratore.

In their new positions, Latibeaudiere and Rosenblum will manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the entertainment news magazine, overseeing all aspects of the production of the series, leading to its second season launch on September 8, 2008.

"Charles and Evan are two of the most competent, creative people I've ever worked with. They deserve this beyond words," said Levin.

"Charles and Evan have been key in our success at TMZ. This promotion just recognizes the contribution that they're already making," said Paratore.

Latibeaudiere helped launched the freshman season of TMZ, where he served as Supervising Producer. Prior to TMZ, Latibeaudiere spent eight years at Extra, the pop culture news magazine strip produced by Telepictures Productions where he served as Senior Producer. Before joining Extra, Latibeaudiere worked at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, then the ABC Television Network affiliate, where he served as Producer of the nightly 10:00 pm newscast.

Rosenblum first began working for Harvey Levin as a writer on the former news magazine Celebrity Justice. After a brief stint producing the weekend edition of Extra, Rosenblum reconnected with Levin at TMZ.com, signing on as the website's Coordinating Producer. A year later, Rosenblum was promoted to the position of Platform Integration Manager, in which he produced the first pilot episode of TMZ and has since had a supervising role in both TMZ.com and TMZ.

TMZ, the daily television series based upon TMZ.com, the premier entertainment news destination on the Internet, launched in September 2007 and is the first daily entertainment program to cover Hollywood as it really is and celebrities as they really are. Six days a week, TMZ goes where the stars work, live and play, taking viewers on a trip through a world where the reality is even more fascinating than the hype. Originating from the famed Sunset Strip in the heart of Hollywood, the TV program brings the TMZ brand to television, providing a fresh and honest take on celebrities and their real lives as only TMZ can with humor, youthful energy and the same urgency and irreverent attitude found on TMZ.com. TMZ is produced by Harvey Levin Productions, Inc. and paraMedia, inc. in association with Telepictures Productions. The executive producers are Harvey Levin and Jim Paratore. The show is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.

For the 2008-09 season, Telepictures, an industry-leading and Emmy Award-winning producer of syndicated programming (having garnered 54 Emmys in 12 years), is producing seven nationally syndicated strips. Telepictures will produce The Bonnie Hunt Show, a new syndicated program that is a winning combination of best of the classic talk format, heartfelt human-interest stories, and invaluable takeaway that real women can use in their everyday lives. The slate also includes the sixth season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, winner of four consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show and four for Outstanding Talk Show Host; the 2nd season of TMZ, the half-hour series that brings the TMZ.com brand to television, expanding upon the website's mission as a 24-hour-per day, seven-day-per week entertainment news destination providing a fresh, unfiltered look at celebrities and their real lives; the fourth season of the Emmy Award-winning The Tyra Banks Show, a one-hour, daily talk show serving as a young woman's guide to life, hosted by Tyra Banks; the tenth season of the hour-long court series Judge Mathis; the 12th season of People's Court; and the 15th season of the pop culture newsmagazine Extra. In addition, Telepictures will produce Judge Jeanine Pirro, a one-hour daily court program, which will air at 3pm on the CW Network, featuring Jeanine Pirro former Westchester County, New York, District Attorney and county judge, highly respected legal commentator and author, and champion of women's rights.
