DENISE RICHARDS: IT'S COMPLICATED (E!) - The cable channel is moving forward with a second season of the reality series, from Ryan Seacrest Productions. The show's freshman run averaged 1.1 million viewers after opening to 1.8 million on May 26. "When Denise let viewers into her home last season, they got to know the real Denise and judge for themselves," said the network's Lisa Berger in a statement. "We all know that Denise is full of surprises and, from what we are already hearing, there is much more to come." Production on the new season is set to begin early next year.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY (ABC) - John Schneider, who's current recurring on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," has landed a three-episode arc on the show's sophomore season. He'll play a Congressman who helps Tripp Darling (Donald Sutherland) in his war against Simon Elder (Blair Underwood).

THE FROZEN FAMILY (ABC, New!)/UNTITLED WILL GLUCK PROJECT (FOX, New!) - "The Loop" co-creator Will Gluck has booked a pair of projects - "The Frozen Family" at ABC and an untitled effort at FOX. The latter is a single-camera comedy about a construction crew. The half-hour, which is based at Sony Pictures Television, will track said crew as it tears down and rebuilds a house over the course of a given season. As for the Alphabet project, "Frozen" is a hybrid multi-camera comedy about an organic frozen-food family business. Rob Roy Thomas ("Free Ride") is penning said half-hour, which Gluck is supervising. Sony is also co-producing the half-hour alongside CBS Paramount Network Television and DreamWorks Television.

PRIVILEGED (The CW) - "NYPD Blue" alum Sharon Lawrence has been tapped to play Shelby, the mother to Megan (Joanna Garcia) and Lily (Kristina Apgar) who abandoned them 15 years ago. She'll appear in at least two episodes of the series beginning January.
