CHANCE (Hulu/Fox 21; W: Alexandra Cunningham & Kem Nunn; D: Lenny Abrahamson) - Clarke Peters ("Treme") has been cast in the Hugh Laurie-led drama, about Eldon Chance, a San Francisco-based forensic neuropsychiatrist. After an ill-advised decision regarding an alluring patient who may or may not be struggling with a multiple personality disorder (Gretchen Mol), Chance finds himself in the crosshairs of her abusive spouse (Paul Adelstein), who also happens to be a ruthless police detective. He'll play Carl, a "gay, cultured, well-spoken and old-school antiques dealer who knows his business inside and out - as well as how to increase an object's market value through means both legitimate and not." ROB RIGGLE'S SPORTSBOOK (TBS, New!) - "The Daily Show" alumnus Rob Riggle has scored a pilot order from the cable channel for "a weekly late-night program showing the humor in the 24-hour digital cycle of sports, talk, news and entertainment, anchored from the sports and entertainment capital of the world: Las Vegas." Chris Pizzi will also executive produce alongside host Riggle for Principato-Young Entertainment and IMG Original Content. (Deadline.com)
