BATES MOTEL (A&E) - Isabelle McNally ("House of Cards") will recur on the show's final season as Madeleine Loomis, "a warm and kindhearted woman who bears a striking resemblance to a young Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga)." (TVLine.com)
CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS) - Jane Lynch is set to reprise her role as Spencer Reid's (Matthew Gray Gubler) schizophrenic mother in a pair of upcoming episodes. (TVLine.com)
DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Netflix) - Jeremy Tardy (War Dogs) will recur on the upcoming comedy as "Kenyan student Rashid Bakr, a brainy young man who speaks five languages. He's trying to discover what it means to be an African in America among African-Americans." (Deadline.com)
GRACE (ABC, New!) - Eyal Podell and Jonathon E. Stewart has sold a new drama to the Alphabet about "a family of adult siblings whose lives are upended when their stalwart minister father reveals to his family that he is gay." Mandeville Television's David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks will also executive produce the project, inspired by Stewart's real life, for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
GUERRILLA (Showtime) - German actress Bella Dayne has been tapped for a role on the upcoming drama. She'll play Eliette, "a member of a radical group lying low in London." (Deadline.com)
HAIRSPRAY LIVE! (NBC) - Billy Eichner is slated to appear on the adaptation as Rob Barker, "the TV newsman who relays the story of Tracy Turnblad's escape from prison in order to integrate a popular dance program." (TVLine.com)
KEEPING IT REAL (Showtime, New!) - Walton Goggins ("Vice Principals") is attached to star in a new comedy for the pay channel about "a narcissistic but well-intentioned movie star (Goggins) who travels to global hot spots and inserts himself into international incidents, only to create more chaos." Oscar-winner Charles Randolph (The Big Short) will pen the project, which has "a significant commitment," with fellow Oscar winners Nat Faxon and Jim Rash directing. B Story's Kevin Walsh and Timberman-Beverly Productions' Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will likewise executive produce. (Deadline.com)
PERFECT CITIZEN (CBS, New!) - Craig Turk ("The Good Wife") has sold a new drama to the Eye about "the former general counsel for the NSA who, after his involvement as a whistleblower in an international scandal, embarks on a new career at a storied law firm in Boston. Once there, he must face the reality that half the country thinks he's our greatest patriot, the other half thinks he's a traitor." Turk's CBS Television Studios-based Thinking Hat Productions is behind the hour. (Deadline.com)
WHITE FAMOUS (Showtime) - Stephen Tobolowsky will reportedly reprise his "Californication" role of hot-shot Hollywood producer Stu Beggs on the comedy pilot, which comes from "Californication" creator Tom Kapinos.
