AMERICAN PRINCESS (Lifetime) - The Georgia Flood-led drama continues to expand its ensemble: Matt Peters will play Shart O'Belly, "a Ren Faire actor and one of David's hilarious sidekicks performing in the mud pit"; Lucas Hazlett is Stick, "a Ren Faire actor and David's other sidekick performing in the mud pit"; Lex King will portray Callie, "David's faire girlfriend"; Steve Agee is Lee, "the put-upon manager of the Royal Renaissance Festival"; Kitana Turnbull portrays Breeze, "a smart, self-aware and well-spoken teenager going through teenage issues all while being raised on the Renaissance Faire circuit"; Mike Lane is Bo, "a nerdy Ren Faire enthusiast who doesn't work there, but goes every weekend with his girlfriend"; Juan Alfonso as Juan Andres, "who sells cast iron mugs at the Ren Faire and teases passing patrons all day"; Sophie Von Haselberg will portray Natasha, "a proprietor of one of the Royal Renaissance Festival food booths"; Sas Goldberg is Erin Klein-Fagel, "Amanda's older sister who has a husband, two kids and a very typical Upper East Side life full of nannies and private Pilates classes"; and Patrick Gallagher portrays Friar Woodruff, "the 'Friar' at the Royal Renaissance Festival who is always ready to lend an ear or a swig of his famous homemade Devil's scotch." BEAT SHAZAM (FOX) - The network opted to pull tonight's episode featuring Demi Lovato, "after the singer was rushed to a hospital earlier today because of a possible drug overdose." A different new episode aired in its place. (Deadline.com)
DIRTY JOHN (Bravo) - Jeffrey Reiner has been tapped to direct and executive produce the first four episodes of the true crime anthology, which has also cast Keiko Agena as Debra's (Connie Britton) co-worker Nancy; John Karna as Jimmy, Terra's (Julia Garner) boyfriend; Sprague Grayden as John's (Eric Bana) first wife Tonia; and Cliff Chamberlain as Ethan, John's best man from his first marriage. SMILF (Showtime) - Ally Sheedy and Matthew Morrison will both drop by the show's sophomore run as Mitch, "the nice guy ex-boyfriend of Bridgette (Frankie Shaw) from high school"; and Fiona, "a friend of Bridge and Rafi (Miguel Gomez)." (Variety.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Rob Morgan will recur on the show's third season as Solomon Brown, "a longtime city councilman and fixture in Philadelphia who oversees the very district where William (Emmy nominee Ron Cephas Jones) lived pre-Randall (Sterling K. Brown)." (THR.com)
UNTITLED TIM DILLON PROJECT (Comedy Central, New!) - Tim Dillon is set to topline a pilot for the cable channel which "follows comedian and former renegade New York City tour bus guide Dillon as he leads an increasingly bewildered group of tourists on a Willy Wonka-esque bus ride through the most misunderstood towns and cities in America." Zero Point Zero Productions' Chris Collins, Craig H. Shepherd and Michael Steed and AGI Entertainment's Brian Stern will also executive produce the project, which will shoot this summer in New York City, alongside Dillon. (Deadline.com)
