COMPANY YOU KEEP, THE (ABC, New!) - Milo Ventimiglia is attached to star in the drama pilot for the Alphabet based on the Korean format "My Fellow Citizens." Julia Cohen is behind the project, which "follows con man Charlie and undercover CIA officer Emma. A night of passion leads to love between the pair, who are unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the "family business" so he can get out for good, Emma's closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie's family debts in-hand - forcing them to reckon with the lies they've told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences." Electric Somewhere's Jon M. Chu and Caitlin Foito; DiVide Pictures' Ventimiglia and Russ Cundiff; and Todd Harthan and Lindsay Goffman will also executive produce for 20th Television with Deanna Harris as a producer. DIPLOMAT, THE (Netflix) - Rufus Sewell and Ali Ahn have both been cast in the Keri Russell-led drama series, which has also added Simon Cellan Jones as executive producer and director of the first two episodes. Sewell will play Hal Wyler and Ahn will portray Eidra Graham. (Deadline.com)
ORDINARY JOE (NBC) - Co-creator Garrett Lerner has confirmed the freshman drama has been canceled after one season. (@garrettlerner)
PLAYERS (Paramount+) - Ely Henry is the latest to be cast in the esports series alongside Da'Jour Jones, Misha Brooks, Noh Arrow Dong-Hyeon, Michael "Miko" Ahn, and Youngbin Chun with Moses Storm and Alexa Mansour in recurring roles. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
QUANTUM LEAP (NBC) - Raymond Lee has booked the lead role on the new incarnation of the series, set 30 years after the original. He'll play Dr. Ben Seong, "described as both a scientist and man of faith. He's a world-renowned physicist working on a time travel project known as Quantum Leap." (Variety.com)
SEE (Apple TV+) - Executive producer Jonathan Tropper has extended his overall deal with Apple Studios. There he'll continue as showrunner on the series as well as develop new projects via his Tropper Ink banner. (Deadline.com)
