Her pursuit of answers takes her deeper into her own struggles to balance the demands of motherhood and her job." Lil Yachty, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are among the featured guest stars. "We've spent nearly a decade telling our stories through the -ish series and to say it has been an amazing journey would be an understatement. To be able to watch Yara, Marcus and our entire grown-ish family grow up in front of (and in many ways alongside) us over these past several years has been both a joy and an honor. From the stories we've told to the talent we've fostered and, most importantly, the memories made, I could not be more proud of everything we've accomplished and the -ish family I've been a part of," creator Kenya Barris said in a statement. (Deadline.com)
HOTEL COCAINE (MGM+) - Yul Vazquez has scored a role on the upcoming crime thriller as Nestor Cabal, "Roman Compte's (Danny Pino) brother and one of the biggest suppliers of cocaine to a coke-hungry Miami population. Pinborough will adapt the project for the screen, "telling the story of successful career woman Emma Averill, who fears she is losing her mind after suffering from sleep deprivation two weeks before turning 40." Andy Harries, Jessica Burdett and Tim Bricknell are executive producing for Left Bank Pictures with Charlotte Essex producing. Filming begins later this year. (Deadline.com)

But on her rise to the top, dark secrets are discovered about both Yeimi and the family she's made her own that set them on a collision course towards a reckoning that could destroy them all." Jorge Reyes is penning the script for Caracol Television, Tucker Tooley Entertainment, Major Content, Wild Sheep Content, Westbrook Studios and Universal Television with Terence Carter, David Boorstein, Tucker Tooley, Jay Weisleder, Eli Shibley, Paulette Bensussen and Darah Wagner Boaz and Lisette Osorio also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
SINKING SPRING (Apple TV+) - Kieu Chinh is the latest addition to the Brian Tyree Henry-led drama as "a crime family matriarch." The series "follows long-time Philly friends and delinquents who pose as DEA agents to rob an unknown house in the countryside, only to have their small-time grift become a life-and-death enterprise, as they unwittingly reveal and unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard." (THR.com)
SNOWFALL (FX) - Gail Bean's Wanda Bell is reportedly the focus of a proposed spin-off of the veteran drama, which is wrapping its run after six seasons. The project is billed as "a continuation of the original story set in 1990s Los Angeles as South Central transitions out of the crack era into the gangster rap business, with areas heavily infested by gangs led by the Bloods and Crips." Malcolm Spellman is behind the project with Dave Andron, Trevor Engelson, Michael London, Tommy Schlamme and Julie DeJoie executive producing for FX Productions, Groundswell Productions, Shoe Money Productions and Underground Films.
