"America's Got Talent" Is #1 for the Night; "American Ninja Warrior" Wins in 18-49, "Olympic Team Trials" in Total Viewers
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, June 25.

Monday Results:

· From 8-9 p.m. ET, the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials: Swimming Finals" (1.9 rating, 6 share in adult 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall) got the top results among three nights of primetime Olympic Trials coverage on NBC to date. The "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" finished within 1 share of the time-period lead among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and the telecast was #1 among those network in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" grew by 5 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.0 from a 1.9). Note that NBC's Olympic Trials telecasts led their time periods in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox on both Sunday night (1.2/4 from 7-8:01 p.m.) and Saturday night (1.0/4 from 8-9:30 p.m.).

· Coverage of the Olympic Team Trials has grown steadily over the past three nights. With its Saturday, Sunday and Monday telecasts, NBC Sports' coverage of the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" has built night by night from a 1.0 to a 1.2 to a 1.9. In total viewers, those three telecasts have delivered 4.0 million, 4.5 million and 6.9 million.

· From 9-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (3.0/8 in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 results of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on a night that included ABC's "Bachelorette" (2.1/7 in 18-49) and "Glass House" (1.2/3) and Fox's "Hell's Kitchen" (2.3/7) and "MasterChef" (2.2/6). Versus its Monday 8 p.m. ET telecast of one week ago, "Talent" is currently up week to week by 3 percent (to a 3.0 from a 2.9). "Talent" won its competitive hour among ABC, CBS NBC and Fox in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "America's Got Talent" is up 173 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.0 from a 1.1) and up 125 percent in total viewers (10.409 million vs. 4.618 million).

· From 10-11 p.m. ET, "American Ninja Warrior" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) currently ranks #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key categories (pending updates). "American Ninja Warrior" is currently matching last week's 9-11 p.m. telecast in 18-49 and is up by 5 percent in total viewers (6.068 million vs. 5.775 million), pending updates. Versus NBC's average in this time period last summer, "American Ninja Warrior" is currently up 67 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.0 from a 1.2) and up 26 percent in total viewers (6.068 million vs. 4.817 million). Versus NBC's special telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" last summer, this week's telecast is up 18 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 2.0 vs. a 1.7 from 9-11 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011) and up 29 percent in total viewers (6.068 million vs. 4.718 million).

· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "American Ninja Warrior" is currently generating a 31 percent margin of victory in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 2.1 rating vs. a 1.6 for CBS's second-place "Hawaii Five-0" encore).

· NBC is currently tied for #1 for the night in 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and is #1 outright among those networks in total viewers.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.8/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

For the Week:

· With "America's Got Talent" ranking as the #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for a fourth week in a row in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, NBC's primetime lineup has averaged a 1.2 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall for the week of June 18-24.

· The broad-based hit "America's Got Talent" was the week's #1 non-sports telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-34, households, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11. "Talent" has now delivered the five highest 18-49 and total-viewer results among all primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, excluding sports, since the end of the May sweep on May 23.

· Among NBC's top-ranked programs for the week, Monday's "America's Got Talent" finished #3 in adult 18-49 overall on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and #1 among non-sports programs, Monday's "American Ninja Warrior" ranked #12, Tuesday's two encores of "Talent" ranked #14 and tied for #15, Tuesday's "Love in the Wild" tied for #23 and the Friday and Sunday editions of "Dateline," Sunday's "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" and two Sunday "Talent" rebroadcasts all tied for #28. Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.

· Primetime averages for the week of June 18-24 in adults 18-49 were: ABC (2.2/7), Fox (1.5/5), NBC (1.2/4), CBS (1.1/3) and CW (0.2/1). In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: ABC (6.4 million), CBS (5.6 million), NBC (4.6 million), Fox (4.1 million) and CW (0.7 million).

· For the 2011-12 broadcast year to date, NBC is tied for #3 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 rating and is the only network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox that's up versus one year ago in viewers 18-49. NBC is also #2 in adults 18-34 for the broadcast year to date. Averages for the broadcast year through 40 weeks are: Fox (3.0/9), CBS (2.8/8), ABC (2.4/7), NBC (2.4/7) and CW (0.7/2). In overall total viewers, the broadcast-year averages are: CBS (11.1 million), Fox (8.5 million), ABC (8.2 million), NBC (7.2 million) and CW (1.6 million).
