New HBO Max Brand Spot Features Highlights Of Streamer's Expansive 2021 Original Programming Line-Up
On the heels of news that Warner Bros.' 2021 slate of films will be available in theaters and streaming on HBO Max the same day, HBO Max released a new brand spot today showcasing some of the key Originals that will debut on the streamer in 2021. As the home of high quality storytelling from the world's most iconic entertainment brands - HBO, Warner Bros., DC and more packaged with compelling new Max Originals - HBO Max will deliver the greatest array of series, movies and specials to thrill audiences of all ages next year.
Featured in the spot are new HBO Originals including the limited series "Mare of Easttown," with Kate Winslet starring as a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as her life crumbles around her; drama series "The Nevers," set in Victorian England and following a varied group of Londoners who suddenly manifest abnormal abilities; two-part documentary "Tiger," a portrait of global golf icon Tiger Woods; and a second special episode of Emmy(R)-winning drama series "Euphoria," alongside returning originals Emmy(R)-winning comedy series "Insecure" and Outstanding Drama Series Emmy(R) winner "Succession." Max Originals featured include "Gossip Girl," a reimagining of the iconic YA series for a new generation; "Nicki Minaj," a docuseries offering a look inside the superstar's life; crime thriller "No Sudden Move," directed by Oscar(R) and Emmy(R) winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh and starring a stellar ensemble cast including Don Cheadle, Benicio Del Toro, Jon Hamm and Ray Liotta; the much-anticipated "Friends Reunion Special;" and the director's cut of "Justice League." All will debut on HBO Max in 2021. HBO's "Game of Thrones" prequel, "House of the Dragon," also featured, will debut in 2022.
The spot also includes action-packed scenes from the highly anticipated Warner Bros. film "Wonder Woman 1984" - the first of the slate with its debut on Christmas Day in theaters and on HBO Max in the U.S. The films will be available for 31 days from their theatrical release on HBO Max in the U.S. at no additional cost to subscribers.
