DESCRIPTION: (from Destination America's press release, November 2013) On the heels of impressive ratings, Destination America, the only television network that celebrates the people, places and stories of the U.S., has greenlit a new hit series it its "Buying" franchise -- BUYING THE BAYOU, for season two -- and is prepping the third installment, BUYING HAWAII for premiere on Monday, December 2 at 10pm E/P. BUYING THE BAYOU and its companion series that kicked off the franchise, BUYING ALASKA are in the network's top three series in Prime in 4Q13 among P/M 25-54, P2+ and HH delivery, performing double-to-triple digits above Destination America's 4Q13 Prime average among all key demos' delivery (+67-108% among P/M 25-54/18-49, HH and P2+) to-date. Season two of BUYING ALASKA has reached 5.7 million viewers total and 2.4 million in the key demo (P25-54) to-date, while BUYING THE BAYOU reached 3.1 million total viewers and 1.4 million in the key demo (P25-54) in its debut season. Additionally, Destination America is offering up a two-part special with BUYING LOG HOMES, celebrating beloved, rustic cabins.
