Bravo's "Better Half" Hosted By Susie Essman Premieres Wednesday, October 3 At 11:15 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, September 27, 2007 For the first time in Bravo's history, next week's final supersized episode of "Top Chef 3 Miami" will be broadcast live from Chicago on Wednesday, October 3 from 10-11:15PM ET. Immediately following, the network premieres the new series "Better Half," hosted by "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Susie Essman. Tuesday, October 2 marks the premiere of the final season of the landmark Emmy Award-winning series "Queer Eye" from 9:00-11:00 PM ET/PT.

In the premiere episode of Bravo's new reality competition series "Better Half," premiering Wednesday, October 3rd at 11:15 p.m. ET/PT, it's a battle of the sexes as two novices, Ellen and Sarah a gemologist and a bartender take on their partner's job two top New York professional chefs. With only two days of training, the couples will have to compete in the ultimate culinary competition for a chance to win $20,000. With the grand prize on the line and just two days to teach their "better half" how to fillet, fry, broil, bake, slice, dice and spice, professional chefs Paolo and Kyle cut it close. When the time comes for the amateurs to face-off and serve a dining room full of hungry diners and three famous foodie judges (Gael Greene, food writer and New York magazine columnist; Donatella Arpaia, restaurateur and food expert; and Harold Dieterle, season one winner of Bravo's "Top Chef"), one must get burned, and the other will be named "The Better Half."
