YOUNG NASHVILLE PURSUE THEIR DREAMS ON THE SERIES PREMIERE OF "NASHVILLE" FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, ON FOX

Behind every song there's a story waiting to be told, and there are many such stories on NASHVILLE, a show following a vibrant young cast perched on the cusp of achieving their greatest successes in a town that can make you or break you. On the premiere episode, Mika Combs leaves Kentucky and her boyfriend behind and moves to Nashville to pursue her dream of performing. With a little help from her new friend, Matt, she soon gets a glimpse of what it's like to perform on a big stage. Meanwhile, Chuck performs on a stage of his own after his managers set up a music showcase for record executives. Will they give Chuck the thumbs up? And while Chucks career moves forward, Matt and Jeff continue to struggle, but find solace in making music at local honkytonks. Later, Nashville heartthrob Clint Moseley throws a big Nashville-style BBQ and all of young Nashville shows up, causing Rachel to question Clint's true intentions and turn to her friends Sarah and Lindsey for help in the "Welcome to Nashville" episode of NASHVILLE airing Friday, Sept. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
