--Twins Dipper and Mabel Pines Spend their Summer Vacation in the
Strange and Mysterious Town of Gravity Falls--
"Tourist Trapped" - Young twins Dipper and Mabel Pines arrive to spend their summer break with their Great Uncle Stan, aka Grunkle Stan, in the remote town of Gravity Falls. Dipper soon finds his sister's new crush suspiciously odd, which causes Dipper and Mabel to come face-to-face with the town's strange and uncanny secrets. Dipper also finds a mysterious journal that hints to an even greater cover-up hidden within the town's wondrous past...and present, in the premiere episode of "Gravity Falls," premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 29 (9:00-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
"The Legend of Gobblewonker" - In the premiere, when Dipper and Mabel hear rumors that a sea monster lives at the bottom of the local lake, they enlist Soos to take them on a boating expedition to prove it really does exist, in a new episode of "Gravity Falls," premiering SUNDAY, JUNE 29 (9:30 - 10:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
"Gravity Falls" stars Jason Morgan as Dipper Pines, Kristen Schaal as Mabel Pines, Alex Hirsch as Grunkle Stan and Soos, and Linda Cardellini as Wendy. "Gravity Falls" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
"Tourist Trapped" was written by Alex Hirsch and directed by John Aoshima. "The Legend of Gobblewonker" was written by Michael Rianda and Alex Hirsch and directed by John Aoshima.

DESCRIPTION: (from Disney Channel's press release, May 2012) Gravity Falls is just west of weird, slightly east of eerie and always north of normal, in a fresh new comedy series that follows city kids and twins Dipper and Mabel Pines who are sent to spend the summer with their eccentric Great Uncle Stan (aka Grunkle Stan) who runs a tourist trap called The Mystery Shack in a remote northwestern town where nothing is what it seems. There are creatures in the forest, there are monsters in the lake and even time traveling adventures. The comedy, produced by Disney Television Animation, has a special preview FRIDAY, JUNE 15 (9:55 p.m., ET/PT) and premieres FRIDAY, JUNE 29 (9:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Created and executive-produced by 2007 CalArts graduate Alex Hirsch ("Fish Hooks," "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack") and inspired by his real life adventures with his twin sister, "Gravity Falls" features the voice talents of Jason Ritter ("Parenthood") and Kristen Schaal ("Toy Story 3," "30 Rock") in the lead roles.
