Actor/Director Kevin Smith Directs His Second Episode of Series

"Graduation Day" - Graduation Day is quickly approaching, and Erica cannot wait to get out of the house, until it dawns on her how much Beverly's love means to her. She attempts to delay her graduating so she can stay home. Later, Barry has plans for him and Lainey, but they turn to dust. Meanwhile, Dana makes a surprise visit just as Adam and Jackie officially become a couple, on "The Goldbergs," WEDNESDAY, MAY 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network.

"The Goldbergs" stars Wendi McLendon-Covey ("Bridesmaids") as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt ("Ratatouille") as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile ("Good Luck Chuck") as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia ("The X Factor") as Erica Goldberg, AJ Michalka as Lainey Lewis, with George Segal ("Just Shoot Me") as Pops Solomon and Jeff Garlin ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as Murray Goldberg.

Guest starring are Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz, Sean Marquette as Johnny Atkins, Niko Guardado as Ruben Amaro Jr., Bryan Callen as Coach Mellor, David Koechner as Bill Lewis, Stephen Tobolowsky, Quincy Fouse as Taz Money, Dan Fogler as Marvin Goldberg, Natalie Alyn Lind as Dana and Rowan Blanchard as Jackie.

Mom Beverly is at her best when she's meddling, matchmaking and bedazzling her way through life, while Dad Murray parents from the comfort of his recliner in his underpants. Oldest sister Erica dreams of being a pop star if she can only overcome her secret love of all things uncool. Then there's middle child Barry who's just as in touch with his emotions as he is with his sick rap skills, which is how he landed Erica's best friend and the hottest girl in school, Lainey, as his girlfriend. Rounding out the brood is beloved grandfather Al "Pops" Solomon, the wild man of the clan.
