Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, will air an affecting season finale episode of breakout hit "The Bold Type" centering on the issue of sexual assault. "The Bold Type" season finale will air tonight on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, at 9:01 p.m. EDT; and episodes are available on the Freeform app and Freeform.com (same date and time). Additionally, the first nine episodes are available to binge on the Freeform app for mobile devices and connected TV, On Demand, Freeform.com and Hulu.

In the episode, "Carry the Weight," Jane struggles with telling Jacqueline about her decision to leave Scarlet, especially when she's asked to write a piece about a performance artist/activist who is speaking out about sexual assault. After how things were left with Adena, Kat is distracted while trying to throw a memorable NY Fashion Week party for Scarlet. And Sutton gets into an awkward situation at work with Richard and Alex.
