SYNDICATIONS #1 NEW SHOW RACHAEL RAY RENEWED FOR TWO MORE YEARS THROUGH 2009-2010

Freshman sensation cleared by CBS, Gannett, Post-Newsweek, Scripps Howard, McGraw-Hill and Evening Telegram stations

LAS VEGAS January 16, 2006 This seasons highest-rated new syndicated show, Rachael Ray, is renewed through the 2009-2010 season, it was announced today by Roger King, Chief Executive Officer of CBS Television Distribution.

As the only bona fide new syndicated hit of the season, were pleased to renew Rachael Ray for two more seasons, King said. Its clear that Rachaels devoted fans are happy to welcome her into their living rooms every day, and the positive response from our affiliate stations has been tremendous. We look forward to many more years of fantastic shows from Rachael and the shows talented creative team.

Rachael Ray premiered on September 18, 2006, as the highest-rated syndicated talk show debut since Dr. Phil in 2002. Season to date, Rachael Ray is averaging a 2.1 HH AA% rating, more than double its closest freshman talk show competitor. Rachael Ray ranks among the top 5 syndicated talk shows on television.

Im thrilled that I will be able to keep working with all the talented people who make the show such a success, Ray said. It is truly a dream job, and I thank all the viewers for tuning in every day.

The show is currently renewed through 2010 in about one-third of the country, with stations from CBS, Gannett Broadcasting, Post-Newsweek, Scripps Howard, McGraw-Hill and Evening Telegram signing on for two more years. By the end of the new deal, Rachael Ray will have four seasons under its belt.

Stations renewing Rachael Ray include the CBS owned-and-operated stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Boston, Miami and Denver as well as stations in the following top 30 markets: WXIA-TV, Atlanta (Gannett Broadcasting); KPRC-TV, Houston (Post-Newsweek); WDIV-TV, Detroit (Post-Newsweek); KARE-TV, Minneapolis-St. Paul (Gannett Broadcasting); WKYC-TV, Cleveland (Gannett Broadcasting); WKMG-TV, Orlando (Post-Newsweek); WMAR-TV, Baltimore (Scripps Howard); and KGTV, San Diego.
