SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 18 -- Comedian Lance Krall is back as Morning radio's most loveably moronic DJ in the second season of VH1's improvised comedy, "Free Radio." After hilariously bungling last season's roster of morning show interviews, DJ Lance, the former-intern-turned-host subjects a slew of new celebrity guests from film, television, music and stage to his unique brand of idiocy. VH1 takes viewers along for the ride when the new season premieres Thursday, April 2 at 11:00PM*.

"Free Radio" chronicles the story of Lance, a radio show intern (played by comedian Lance Krall of "The Joe Schmo Show" and "The Lance Krall Show") who answers his call to greatness by filling the role of host of the popular L.A. morning show, "Moron in the Morning," after the original host defects to satellite radio. Lance's effort is so spectacularly awful that ratings skyrocket -- the only reason for his continuing employment at the station.

"We are excited to bring back Lance Krall and crew for another season," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Production. "His perfectly timed combination of comedy and quirkiness led to some truly laugh out loud moments last season, and we've got an amazing slate of new celebrity guests lined up to brave Lance for an even funnier second season."

This season, celebrity guests include Kathy Griffin ("My Life On The D List"), Emily Procter ("CSI- Miami"), John Stamos ("E.R."), Bai Ling ("Crank: High Voltage"), Hank Azaria ("Night At The Museum 2"), David Cook ("American Idol"), Akon, (musician), Rachelle Lefevre ("Twilight"), Tony Hawk (pro-skater), Henry Rollins (musician), Cheech & Chong (comic actors), Sugar Ray Leonard (boxing champion), Danica McKellar ("The Wonder Years"), Corey Feldman ("Lost Boys: The Tribe"), Ed Helms ("The Office"), Dominic Monaghan ("X Men Origins: Wolverine"), Taryn Manning ("Kill Theory"), Neil Hamburger (comedian), Zachary Levi ("Chuck"), Ed Begley Jr. ("Gary Unmarried"), Omarosa ("The Apprentice"), Jim Parsons ("Big Bang Theory"), Charlie Day ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"), Rob McElhenney ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"), Glenn Howerton ("It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"), Lauren Frances (author), Bree Turner ("The Ugly Truth"), Nick Cassavetes ("My Sister's Keeper"), Sam Trammell ("True Blood") and Odette Yustman ("The Unborn"). All are vulnerable to the offbeat insanity Lance exudes on "Moron in the Morning."

While hilariously awkward celebrity interviews continue to make up the bulk of the show, "Free Radio" also goes behind the scenes to document the loveably dim radio jockey's struggle to deal with his newfound fame and earn the respect of his co-workers. Season 2 follows the dysfunctional staff at KBOM as they continue to adjust to life with their new unlikely star. Whether it's the harried co-host Anna (played by Anna Vocino), the frustrated station manager, James (played by Brian Huskey), or the receptionist known simply as "Emo Sarah" (played by Sarah Baker), the station's staff all tolerate Lance for the sake of ratings.

Witness Lance's comical naivete in the season premiere on Thursday, April 2 at 11:00PM* and catch a special sneak peak of the first episode on VH1.com beginning Thursday, March 26. Additional exclusive video content will be available throughout the season on VH1.com and on VH1 Mobile.

"Free Radio" was created and executive produced by Lance Krall and Rory Rosegarten. Jim Ackerman and Mike Riley serve as Executive Producers for VH1.
