June is Jam Packed with 'Instant' Gratification as The N Premieres Final Season of Instant Star and Launches the Hit Teen Comedy That '70s Show

The N To Air All 13 New Episodes of Instant Star Weeknights Beginning June 2; That '70s Show To Premiere on Monday, June 30

NEW YORK, May 22 -- The N delivers instant gratification as the network totally for and about teens unveils the entire fourth and final season of Instant Star and premieres the hit teen comedy That '70s Show -- all in the month of June.

The network will premiere Instant Star on Monday, June 2, at 8:00 p.m. (ET) and will roll out the remaining 12 episodes every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. (ET), culminating with the series finale on Thursday, June 26, at 8:00 p.m. (ET).

In the premiere episode of the final season of Instant Star, titled "Your Time's Gonna Come," rock star sensation, Jude Harrison (Alexz Johnson) is hard at work on her upcoming third album. As luck would have it, her personal and professional life once again collide as Jude finally has to make the difficult decision to either firmly commit to Jamie and follow him to his new record label or start a new life with Tommy, who has made the ultimate sacrifice for Jude. But when Jude finally picks her man she lets her insecurity get the best of her.

From lava lamps to bell bottoms, The N brings back the 70's on Monday, June 30 with the premiere of two back-to-back half-hour episodes of That '70s Show from 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. (ET). The laugh-out-loud series will air nightly with two back-to-back episodes beginning at 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight (ET). The N has acquired the complete eight-season library (200 episodes) of the award-winning series.

That '70s Show, produced by Carsey-Werner, revolves around several teens living in Wisconsin in 1976 including, Eric Forman (Topher Grace), who lives under the authority of his parents, Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon), the girl next door, Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), the foreign-exchange student soaking up American culture, Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis), the self proclaimed hottie, her on-again off-again boyfriend Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) and Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson), the conspiracy theorist of the group. The gang spends their time in Eric's basement, thinking of their lives, parents, and futures, but they manage to get into funny adventures and mishaps along the way throughout their teenage years.

Instant Star depicts the life of Jude Harrison, a singer/songwriter who is propelled to superstardom after she wins a national American Idol-style talent competition. Jude is played by real-life singer/songwriter/actress Alexz Johnson, who has written and recorded several of the original songs featured in the series. Each episode of Instant Star features a new song performed by Johnson.

Those helping Jude along the way on her rock n' roll journey include: her hot young producer and former boy-band heartthrob Tom Quincy, aka Lil' Tommy Q (Tim Rozon), boy-next-door best friend Jamie Andrews (Kristopher Turner), band-mate turned reality TV-star Spiederman (Tyler Kyte), Spied's wife and G-major musician Karma (Cory Lee), Jude's older and wiser sister Sadie (Laura Vandervoort), as well as the head of G Major, media-mogul Darius Mills (Wes Williams).

Instant Star is produced in association with CTV by Toronto-based Epitome Pictures, producers of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The series was created by Linda Schuyler, co-creator of the original Degrassi series. Schuyler and Stephen Stohn serve as Executive Producers of Instant Star.

Epitome Pictures and its affiliate companies have been producing quality Canadian programming since 1976, including the multi-award winning, internationally recognized Degrassi franchise, The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High, which still air throughout the world. Epitome Pictures has also produced the series Liberty Street and Riverdale, as well as Instant Star and several MOWs. For more information, please visit http://www.epitomepictures.com.
