IN A SHOCKING TWIST, BOTH DAPHNA DOVE AND HEATHER LUTRELL ARE THE FOURTH AND FIFTH PERFORMERS ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION ON "ROCK STAR: INXS"

Ten Contestants Remain In the Competition To Become The Lead Singer of the Band INXS

After falling into the bottom three in viewer votes and after a collective decision by the band, INXS, both Daphna Dove of Los Angeles, CA (originally, NYC) and Heather Lutrell of Atlanta, GA. were eliminated last night from the competition to become the new lead singer of INXS on "Rock Star: INXS.

During last night's broadcast, the women learned their fate from Tim Fariss, a member of the band, and that "neither of them were right for their band, INXS." Daphna, a legal secretary and Heather a nanny and painter, along with Jessica Robinson made up the three performers with the fewest viewer votes and had to perform an INXS song in front of a studio audience in a fight to stay in the competition.

Daphna performed "What You Need," while Heather performed By My Side songs chosen by INXS, but the band felt that neither of them delivered in their performance. Daphna and Heather becomes the fourth and fifth people eliminated from the competition, following Dana Robbins, Wil Seabrook and Neal Carlson.

The 10 remaining performers will continue in the competition vying to become the new lead singer of INXS. ROCK STAR: INXS is broadcast on Mondays (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) and Wednesdays (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT). Dave Navarro and Brooke Burke are the hosts.
