MAGGIE AUSBURN WINS "BIG BROTHER 6" AND THE GRAND PRIZE OF PRIZE OF $500,000!!

STUDIO CITY, CALIF., Sept. 21 -- It's been a wild summer in the BIG BROTHER 6 house. Pairings inside the house were revealed, alliances were formed early on and plenty of secrets kept America buzzing, but in the end, Maggie Ausburn emerged triumphant last night as BIG BROTHER 6's grand prize winner of $500,000 based on the votes of her former housemates on the jury. Ivette Corredero will receive $50,000 as the second place winner.

After living in the BIG BROTHER 6 house for 80 days and 1,895 hours, Maggie Ausburn, the 27-year-old emergency room nurse from Las Vegas, faced a jury consisting of the last seven evicted houseguests: Jennifer Vasquez, Rachel Plencner, James Rhine, Beau Beasley, Howie Gordon, April Lewis and Janelle Pierzina. Ashlea Evans, Michael Donnellan, Eric Littman, Sarah Hrejsa and Kaysar Ridha were also present, but were not part of the jury.

After each of the jury members had the chance to ask the finalists questions, the seven members of the jury voted live on-air for whom they wanted to win. By a vote of 4-3, Maggie became the grand-prize winner of $500,000. Houseguest pairings April and Jennifer and Howie and Rachel voted for Maggie to be the victor, while Beau, James and Janelle voted for Ivette.

After leaving BIG BROTHER 6, Maggie and Ivette were met by their families and interviewed by Julie Chen about their experience inside the house. Maggie was reunited with her boyfriend and parents, while Ivette was reunited with her girlfriend and parents.
