HELIX (Syfy/Sony; W: Cameron Porsandeh; D: David Slade) - Billy Campbell ("The Killing") has been tapped for the lead role on the upcoming drama, about a team of scientists investigate a possible disease outbreak in an Arctic research facility and find themselves trying to protect the world from annihilation. Ronald D. Moore, Steven Maeda and Lynda Obst also serve as executive producers on the project, which premieres in January. (Deadline.com)
