ARROW (The CW) - David Meunier ("Justified") has booked a recurring role as Ishmael Gregor, "the slick and intimidating Pakhan ("Godfather") of the Bratva, whom Anatoly (David Nykl) reports and takes a special interest in Oliver Queen." (Deadline.com)
BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - Leon Rippy ("11.22.63") will recur on the new season as Hunter, "a mysterious survivalist who stumbles upon a secret that will have dire consequences. He's an enigmatic character whose unhinged behavior makes him hard to pin down as friend or foe." (Deadline.com)
CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS) - Paget Brewster's Emily Prentiss will now return as a full-fledged regular on the series this season. (Deadline.com)
EMPIRE (FOX) - Morocco Omari's FBI agent Tariq Cousins is the latest to be promoted to regular on the series. (THR.com)
FAMILY HONOR (NBC, New!) - Nkechi Carroll ("Rosewood") has scored a put pilot commitment from the Peacock for a new "ensemble police procedural explored through the eyes of four diverse foster sisters who fall on both sides of the law." 6th & Idaho's Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan also serve as executive producers for 20th Century Fox Television. FAVORITE, THE (ABC, New!) - Laura Krafft ("Grandfathered") has sold a single-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "a woman who comes home for a visit to help her siblings with their aging parents and ends up moving in to care for them full time." ABC Studios and Kapital Entertainment are behind the half-hour with the latter's Aaron Kaplan likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER (CBS, New!) - The Eye will take another stab at importing Robert Popper's U.K. comedy, about "the Goodmans, a traditional but not strictly observant Jewish family, and chronicles their Shabbat dinners." Michael Weithorn and Dan O'Shannon will pen the single-camera project for CBS Television Studios with Popper and Big Talk Productions' Kenton Allen and Matthew Justice also executive producing. Popper himself was attached to pen an adaptation in 2014 with Greg Daniels and Ken Kwapis spearheading another incarnation at NBC in 2012 with Allison Janney and Tony Shalhoub in the principal roles. G.L.O.W. (Netflix) - Betty Gilpin ("Nurse Jackie") has scored a role on the upcoming original as Debbie Eagan, "a former soap star who left show business to have a baby, only to be sucked back in when her picture-perfect life is not what it seems." (Deadline.com)
GHOSTED (FOX, New!) - Craig Robinson and Adam Scott are attached to star in a potential single-camera comedy at the network about Leroy Wright (Robinson), "a cynical, hilarious skeptic, and Max Allison (Scott), a genius "true believer" in the paranormal, who are hired by the Underground Investigative Service to look into the rampant "unexplained" activity in Los Angeles - all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race." Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment) is penning the script and will executive produce alongside the duo as well as 3 Arts Entertainment's Mark Schulman and Oly Obst. (Deadline.com)
HAWAII FIVE-0 (CBS) - Sarah Carter will reprise her role of Lynn Downey for the show's landmark 150th episode. (TVLine.com)
ICE (Audience) - Audrey Marie Anderson ("Arrow") has joined the cast of the upcoming drama as Ava Pierce, "who's strong-willed, independent, fiercely loyal and just can't seem to shake her ex-husband Jake (Cam Gigandet)." (Deadline.com)
INSECURE (HBO) - Co-creator and star Issa Rae has inked a first-look producing deal with the pay channel. (Deadline.com)
LETHAL WEAPON (FOX) - Michelle Mitchenor and Kristoffer Polaha are both bound for the newcomer. She'll play Det. Sonya Bailey, "Murtaugh's tough and dogged protege; a no-nonsense, confident and determined officer, Bailey is at the point in her career where she wants to prove she belongs in the robbery/homicide division." He's then set as Bennet Hirsch, "a tough and straightforward special agent with the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms). Agent Hirsch lends his expertise to Riggs and Murtaugh when a particularly deadly military-grade weapon is used during a crime in the Hollywood Hills." (THR.com)
MINDY PROJECT, THE (Hulu) - Kimrie Lewis-Davis ("Scandal") will visit the veteran comedy in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (TVLine.com)
NEW WARRIORS (New!) - Marvel and ABC Studios are reportedly developing a half-hour comedy series about the "superhero squad made up of teenagers, one of whom would include Doreen Green (aka Squirrel Girl)." No other specifics were given. (TVLine.com)
PATROL (ABC, New!) - Kerry Washington ("Scandal") is developing "a workplace drama about four female LAPD officers who attended the police academy together five years ago and are forced to reconnect after a high-stakes, traumatic secret returns to haunt them" at the Alphabet. She'll executive produce alongside Sharla Sumpter Bridgett via her ABC Studios-based Simpson Street banner. Writer Chitra Elizabeth Sampath will serve as a co-executive producer with Groundswell Productions' Michael London and Janice Williams also among the executive producers. (Variety.com)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Shannon Purser ("Stranger Things") has been tapped for a three-episode arc as Ethel Muggs, "who has a major crush on Jughead (Cole Sprouse) in the comics. But, on Riverdale, Ethel will find herself in a romantic relationship with someone very different." Robin Givens will also recur as Mayor Sierra McCoy who is "also the mother of soon-to-be-world-famous Josie, of Josie & The Pussycats fame." (Deadline.com, EW.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Frederick Schmidt has been cast in a two-episode arc as Metallo, who "arrives in the form of assassin John Corben who, after getting the tar beat out of him by the superpowers cousins (played by Melissa Benoist and Tyler Hoechlin), is rescued and revived by a mysterious organization as a kryptonite-powered supervillain." UNTITLED CORINNE KINGSBURY PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Corinne Kingsbury ("The Newsroom") has booked a multi-camera comedy at the Eye about "a young married couple that deals with the husband's overbearing parents." CBS Television Studios is behind the hour with Wendi Trilling, Dana Honor and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
WACO (New!) - The Weinstein Company is developing a limited series about "the 1993 Waco, Texas, siege and the Branch Davidian standoff." Taylor Kitsch is already attached to star as Branch Davidian leader David Koresh, while Michael Shannon is set as lead FBI negotiator Gary Noesner. Additionally, Ludacris is eyed to portray Branch Davidian member Wayne Martin. John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle (No Escape) are penning the script, based on books about the event by Noesner and David Thibodeau, with the former Dowdle directing. Shannon and Kitsch will likewise executive produce. (THR.com)
WARRIOR (Cinemax) - Writer Jonathan Tropper and director Justin Lin's drama, based on original material written by Bruce Lee, has been ordered to pilot by the pay channel. "Set against the backdrop of San Francisco's Chinatown in the aftermath of the Civil War, Warrior tells the story of a young martial arts prodigy, newly arrived from China, who finds himself caught up in the bloody Chinatown Tong wars." Tropper Ink's Tropper; Perfect Storm Entertainment's Lin, Troy Craig Poon and Danielle Woodrow; as well as Bruce Lee Enterprises' Shannon Lee are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
