BILLY ON THE STREET (truTV) - The Billy Eichner-fronted project is leaving truTV after two years however the series is reportedly on track for a new, yet-to-be-revealed home. (Deadline.com)
CLASSIFIED (FOX, New!) - Marc Guggenheim ("Arrow") have scored a second put pilot commitment at the network for a new drama "set in the high stakes world of the CIA. It is a character driven drama focusing on the dedicated attorneys who represent the Agency. At the heart of this show is a fearless woman trying to navigate her way to the top while putting out fires professionally and personally." Howard Gordon is also on board to executive produce via his 20th Century Fox Television-based Teakwood Lane banner. (Deadline.com)
L.A. TO VEGAS (FOX) - Dermot Mulroney has booked a trip to Dylan McDermott's midseason comedy in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (EW.com)
ROSEANNE (ABC) - Emma Kenney has signed onto the revival series as the daughter of Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and David (Johnny Galecki) Connor. (Deadline.com)
STEP STRANGERS (FOX, New!) - Lauren Caltagirone ("Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,") has sold a potential comedy to the network about "five 20-something adults who are forced to become step-siblings after their overbearing divorced mother and oblivious widower father meet on a singles cruise and fall in love." Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman will also executive produce the project, which has a penalty attached, via their Warner Bros. Television-based Brownstone Productions banner. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED JESSICA WILLIAMS PROJECT (Showtime, New!) - Jessica Williams and Jim Strouse (The Incredible Jessica James) are set to re-team for a new comedy at the pay channel "which tells the story of an African American aspiring science fiction writer (Williams) who comes of age in Brooklyn." Said duo will pen the half-hour with Strouse also directing. Annapurna Television is in talks to co-produce with Showtime. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SUGAR LYN BEARD PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Sugar Lyn Beard (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates) is attached to star in a new comedy for the Peacock about Dr. Olivia Boudreau, "a 35-year-old hard-charging Doogie Howser-style prodigy. When she has a complete breakdown in the operating room and loses her medical license, she is forced to move in with her estranged hippy mom and her mom's two best friends, who team up to help get her back on her feet, while teaching her all the life lessons she missed by going to med school." Beard will also co-write the half-hour alongside Guy Endore-Kaiser with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver of the Sony Pictures Television-based Point Grey Pictures likewise executive producing.
