BALL STREET (Showtime) - Geoff Stults will guest on the comedy pilot as a "trust fund kid who now runs his family's stud farm and is the husband of Regina Hall's Dawn." (TVLine.com)
BETCHES (Comedy Central, New!) - Emma Roberts is lending her voice to a potential animated series at the cable channel "about three millennial women navigating their 20s in New York, calling shit out as they see it and daring to say out loud what everyone is already thinking." The project is based on the young women's humor website/Instagram account. Rachel Koller will write the script as well as executive produce alongside Roberts, Jordana Abraham, Aleen Kuperman and Samantha Fishbein as well as Bunim-Murray Productions' Gil Goldschein and Kesila Childers with All Screen Productions' John Cheng and Carli Haney producing. (THR.com)
BLACKLIST, THE (NBC) - John Noble will drop by the show's February 28 episode as Raleigh Sinclair III, "an artisan who has made it his life's work to provide people with outlets for their darkest emotions." (EW.com)
BRIGHT FUTURES (NBC) - The Peacock was given a pilot order to the Kenya Barris-produced single-camera comedy, about a group of friends who are stumbling through the transition from the clueless, immature 20-somethings they are now, to the successful professionals they have the potential to be. The project, from writers Hale Rothstein, Danny Segal and Isaac Schamis, was set up at ABC back in October but subsequently released. Barris's ABC Studios-based Khalabo Ink Society is behind the half-hour. (Deadline.com)
CHARMED (The CW) - Ser'Darius Blain have been cast in the netlet's reboot of the former The WB staple as Galvin, "the ideal boyfriend, funny, mellow, in touch with his emotions, totally on board to follow his lady across the country for her dream job. An aspiring filmmaker who has yet to catch the break he's sure is just around the corner." (Deadline.com)
DADDY ISSUES (FOX) - Don Johnson is set to star opposite Erin Foster in the single-camera comedy pilot, about Andi (single, 30-something), who refuses to settle down, and her friendship with her playboy dad. Andi's world is turned upside down when she discovers her dad's fallen in love with her best friend. Johnson's Roman is "a narcissist who perpetually dates younger women in an effort to fill a void in his life ever since his divorce - until he finds a new girlfriend he believes to be "the one."" (Deadline.com)
DISJOINTED (Netflix) - Michael Trucco was among the many co-stars to take to social media with the news the series won't return for a second season. (@MichaelTrucco)
ENEMY WITHIN, THE (NBC) - Raza Jaffrey ("Code Black") is the first to be cast in the drama pilot as Ali Ziai, "an FBI agent specializing in interrogation techniques, though he focuses more on empathy than intimidation." (Deadline.com)
FALSE PROFITS (ABC) - Kosha Patel and Kapil Talwalkar are both the first to board the drama pilot, which follows a team of down-and-out women in suburban Arizona as they fight their way to the top of the cutthroat world of a multi-level marketing cosmetics business. Patel will play Parvun Chattoraj, "a soft-spoken, whip-smart employee at the TJ Maxx, who's much more sophisticated about computers than most people"; with Talwalkar as Ramesh, "who works with Ameet (not yet cast) at the Courtyard Marriott, and is in the management training program at ASU." (Deadline.com)
PASSAGE, THE (FOX) - Emmanuelle Chriqui ("The Path") will round out the cast of the revamped drama pilot, an epic, character-driven thriller about a secret government medical facility experimenting with a dangerous virus that could either cure all disease or cause the downfall of the human race. She'll play Lila Kyle, "surgeon and ex-wife to Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar)." (Deadline.com)
STATIES (ABC) - Andy Karl ("Law & Order: SVU") has booked the male lead in the drama pilot, about Eliza Cortez, a hard-charging NYPD detective who's banished to the boonies after a high-profile mistake and is paired with a new partner, Oregon State Trooper Sam King. King is "an experienced (but quite eccentric) Oregon State Trooper with a tragic past." (Deadline.com)
TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO) - Ray Fisher, Rhys Wakefield, Michael Greyeyes and Jon Tenney are all set to appear on the show's third season. Fisher will play Freddy Burns, Wayne's (Mahershala Ali) son with Wakefield, Greyeyes and Tenney as recurring characters Henry Hays, Brett Woodard and Alan Jones, respectively. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MARIE KONDO PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Organization guru Marie Kondo is set to star in an eight-episode series at the streaming service in which "she guides people who, as Netflix describes them, are at a crossroads to spark joy in their homes, transforming their lives in emotional and surprising ways." The Jackal Group's Gail Berman and Joe Earley will executive produce alongside Bianca Barnes-Williiams and KonMari Media's Kondo and Takumi Kawahara. (THR.com)
