CELEBRITY SIBLING REVEALED ON TVS 'STARTING OVER'

Towanda Braxton, Sister of Recording Artist Toni Braxton, Is Featured on The Real-Life Daytime Drama Series

BURBANK, Calif. - September 16, 2004 - Towanda Braxton, the sister of recording artist Toni Braxton, is a cast member of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution's STARTING OVER (Syndicated, check local listings for time and station). Towanda's famous family ties were first revealed on today's episode of the real-life daytime drama series produced by Bunim-Murray Productions (The Real World, The Simple Life).

The second season of STARTING OVER, which premiered on September 13th, features a group of women living together in a Hollywood Hills home and striving to improve their lives with the help of a dedicated team of life coaches and a consulting psychologist.

On the episode airing September 16th, it was revealed that Towanda is the sister of Toni Braxton, and that Towanda has her own singing aspirations. Before achieving success in her solo career, Toni and Towanda performed together as part of a family group called The Braxtons. How Towanda feels as a result of her sibling's fame, and how she strives to create a career and an identity of her own are the key issues she will explore during her stay in the STARTING OVER house.

Each woman in the STARTING OVER cast is expected to reside in the STARTING OVER house for six to twelve weeks, depending on the scope of her "project" and her rate of progress toward her goal. Those women who achieve their goals graduate in triumph. Those who falter can be asked to leave the house.
