NOELLE ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"

Noelle, a Realtors assistant from Reno, Nev., became the fourth girl eliminated from the fourth cycle of UPN's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool from 11 girls to 10.

At the Make-up Designory (MUD), the girls were shocked to see Jay Manuel transformed into an elderly man by expert makeup artists. Jay discussed the power that make-up has to create an illusion and challenged the girls to create a natural, clean look using CoverGirl cosmetics. After the girls completed the makeup exercise, Jay commented that Noelles look made her appear pale and sickly.

Back at the L.A. loft, Brittney confessed on camera that she was annoyed by Noelle constantly talking about her son. In a one-on-one talk with Tyra, Noelle admitted that although she was determined to become a model, she was having a hard time focusing on the competition due to her separation anxiety.

The next morning, at the Salon of Beverly Hills, the girls where judged on their creativity and ability to create a haute couture make-up look in less than 4 minutes. Most of the girls had problems throwing together a high fashion look, but Jay Manuel criticized Noelle by saying, You need to stay away from that blue. You look like those little girls at the mall.

Later, harnessing the power of make-up and hair styling, each girl experienced a drastic transformation, and were then given a milk moustache and had to pose with young children for a Got Milk? ad. Im excited because I love children but it is just making it that much harder for me, Noelle said after spending the day holding a child that reminded her of her son.

During the next evenings elimination ceremony, the judges agreed that while Noelles photos were consistently impressive, her appearance in person didnt match up. I just dont see model in front of meWhen I was looking at her, even in her casual flip-flop way, it doesnt even read model, Janice noted and Tyra agreed. Noelle was then sent home, leaving 10 girls still in the running.

The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. Finally, the winner will appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine.

The fourth installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 14 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. Banks, who created the show, also serves as executive producer along with Ken Mok ("Making the Band") and Anthony Dominici ("The Amazing Race").
