VH1 Set to Continue Its Record-Breaking Pace Into 2008 with Brand New Premieres and Returning Series

"The 13th Annual Critics' Choice Awards" Live Telecast New Series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" And The Return Of "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels," "My Fair Brady ... Maybe Baby" and "Scott Baio is 46 ... and Pregnant" Kick Off The New Year On VH1

NEW YORK, Dec. 17 -- VH1 is ringing in 2008 with a full slate of new premieres and returning series. For the first time VH1 will air The Broadcast Film Critics Association's (BFCA) "Critics' Choice Awards," and will also premiere the new series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels" and "Scott Baio is 46 ... and Pregnant" both return for second seasons while "My Fair Brady ... Maybe Baby" returns for a third season.

THE 13TH ANNUAL CRITICS' CHOICE AWARDS - JANUARY 7

The Broadcast Film Critics Association's (BFCA) "Critics' Choice Awards" will premiere LIVE on VH1 from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 9:00pm ET.

The "Critics' Choice Awards" is the first major award show of the year and the only one to air before the Oscar(R) nomination ballots are mailed in. Since its inception in 1995, the "Critics' Choice Awards" has become a star- studded bellwether event of the movie awards season. The BFCA consistently picks nominees and winners that go on to garner more Academy Award nominations and wins than any other of the movie awards shows. With a successful history of picking nominees and winners, the telecast provides television viewers with their first opportunity to see all the top awards season contenders in one place.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association is the largest film critics' organization in the United States and Canada, representing more than 200 television, radio and online critics. BFCA members are the primary source of information for today's film going public. The very first opinion a moviegoer hears about new releases at the multiplex or the art house usually comes from one of its members.

Counting down to the LIVE premiere of the Critics' Choice Awards, VH1 will air the "13th Annual Critics' Choice Awards Red Carpet Premiere" pre-show LIVE on Monday, January 7 at 8pm (ET/PT) and will also stream it LIVE on VH1.com. Covering the excitement of the celebrity arrivals on the red carpet will be KTLA Morning News entertainment reporter Sam Rubin, The Tonight Show's Ross the Intern and NO GOOD TV's entertainment critic Carrie Keagan.

CELEBRITY REHAB WITH DR. DREW - JANUARY 10

VH1 is partnering with the highly respected Dr. Drew Pinsky for the reality series "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." The project, consisting of eight one-hour episodes, is slated to premiere on January 10, 2008 at 10pm*.

This series will follow the real-life experiences of Brigitte Nielsen, Chyna, Daniel Baldwin, Jeff Conaway, Jessica Sierra, Jaimee Foxworth, Seth "Shifty" Binzer, Mary Carey, and Ricco Rodriguez as they undergo detoxification and treatment at a center in the Los Angeles area. While these celebrity patients may be accustomed to receiving special treatment in their everyday lives, they came in for a major surprise when they entered this no- frills treatment facility. Dr. Drew was aided in the process by his experienced and trusted staff of counselors, including registered nurses and other addiction experts.

In a television first, Dr. Drew Pinsky, a practicing MD and professor at KECK USC School of Medicine, will give viewers an unflinching look at exactly how the rehab process works and what it feels like for participants - whether or not you're a celebrity. Dr. Drew hopes to use his celebrity patients to humanize the process and show viewers that treatment is a viable way to break the cycle of addiction.

ROCK OF LOVE WITH BRET MICHAELS - JANUARY 13

After handing in her VIP pass, Jes, the pink-haired beauty proved she was not fit to handle Bret Michaels' rock-star lifestyle. But the tour continues on and the Poison front man is searching again for someone to 'rock his world.' The second season of "Rock of Love," premiering on Sunday, January 13 at 9:00 PM, will feature 20 new women pining for Bret's heart.

The women will be tested on their devotion to him and their love and understanding for rock-n-roll. To help narrow the field, Michaels will put these women through various challenges. Those who win these challenges will join Michaels on some wild and exclusive excursions, while those who can't hang like true backstage VIPs will be escorted out.

SCOTT BAIO IS 46... AND PREGNANT - JANUARY 13

Everyone's favorite commitment-phobe will be back for another season on VH1 premiering on Sunday, January 13 at 10:00 PM. In the season one finale, Doc Ali's two-month boot camp comes to a close and Scott ends his "graduation party" by committing to Renee and in turn, Renee surprises Scott with the big one-revealing that she's pregnant.

Thus, season two finds Scott struggling to come to terms with impending fatherhood. Ultimately, it will be a season full of life changing decisions for Scott who will be preparing for marriage, fatherhood and instantly becoming a father to an 18-year old stepdaughter. Scott's friends, especially Johnny V., will also have learned to live with these many changes in his life.

MY FAIR BRADY ... MAYBE BABY? - JANUARY 20

During a couple's first year of marriage the first question everyone asks is "How's married life?" and the second question is "When are you going to have a baby?" After a year and a half of marriage, America's favorite reality show couple, Chris Knight and Adrianne Curry, are answering both of these pressing questions on "My Fair Brady ... Maybe Baby" premiering Sunday, January 20 at 10:30 PM.

When we last saw the Chris and Adrianne, they had just walked down the aisle and were about to embark on a new life as husband and wife. Now the clock is ticking, the pressure is on and they're already in couples counseling twice a week. Is it time to buy a bigger home and expand the family? Don't miss all the excitement and drama as the Knights bare all for the cameras in this compelling new season of "My Fair Brady."
