NBC Primetime Program Schedule Change -- September 24
President Bush's address is set to run for 17 minutes followed by "America's Got Talent" on the Eastern and Central time zones.

NBC PRIMETIME PROGRAM SCHEDULE CHANGE -- SEPTEMBER 24

Due to President Bush's recently announced address to the nation, NBC's primetime programming schedule for Wednesday, September 24 will be adjusted to accommodate the speech.

EASTERN AND CENTRAL TIME ZONES

On the East Coast, the new drama "Knight Rider" will premiere at 8-9 p.m. ET, followed by the President's remarks from 9-9:17 p.m. ET. A shortened version of "America's Got Talent" will follow at 9:17-10 p.m. ET while a full episode of the season premiere of "Lipstick Jungle" will be broadcast at 10-11 p.m. ET. Likewise, in the Central time zone, "Knight Rider" will air at 7-8 p.m. CT and will be followed by the President's remarks from 8-8:17 p.m. CT. An abridged version of "America's Got Talent" will be telecast from 8:17-9 p.m. CT and a full episode of the regularly scheduled "Lipstick Jungle" will air from 9-10 p.m. CT.

In the Eastern and Central time zones where "America's Got Talent" is impacted, the final five performances will air in their entirety.

MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE

Meanwhile, in the Mountain time zone, the President's speech will be broadcast from 7-7:17 p.m. MT after which a full edition of "Knight Rider" will be telecast from 7:17-8:17 p.m. MT. "America's Got Talent" then will air in an abridged version from 8:17-9 p.m. MT followed by a full version of "Lipstick Jungle" from 9-10 p.m. MT.

PACIFIC TIME ZONE

On the Pacific Coast, NBC's regularly scheduled lineup will not be affected as "Knight Rider" will debut at 8-9 p.m. PT, while a full episode of "America's Got Talent" will air at 9-10 p.m. PT and "Lipstick Jungle" will premiere at 10-11 p.m. PT). NBC's late-night programs will not be affected and will be broadcast at the usual times.
