Season Three Delivers Triple Digit Gains Over Previous Season in All Key Demos

NEW YORK -- January 7, 2009 - Tuesday's premiere episode of Oxygen's Bad Girls Club ("The Naked Truth") became the show's most watched telecast of the season among total viewers and W18-34, Generation O, according to Nielsen Media Research. The episode drew 604,000 P18-49 (a 153% increase compared to the fourth episode of season two), 455,000 W18-49 (a 163% increase), 370,000 W18-34 (a 239% increase) and 862,000 total viewers (a 122% increase). This comes on the heels of Oxygen's celebration of its best year ever in 2008.

"Bad Girls Club" season three averages to date outperform the first four episodes of season two with triple digit increases, as well. This season averages 566,000 P18-49 (a 123% increase compared to season two), 417,000 W18-49 (a 132% increase), 329,000 W18-34 (a 184% increase) and 787,000 total viewers (a 105% increase).

Oxygen's digital properties saw increases as well, with the show's website registering 2.2 million page views the week leading up to Tuesday's episode. Season-to-date, the website is up 584% in page views, compared to season two; and 194% in video streams. Photo galleries are the most popular new feature, and constituted all of the top ten pages on www.oxygen.com in the past week. This season introduced new online features including live twittering, where fans can interact and chat during the show; an e-commerce initiative, allowing fans to purchase Bad Girls Club merchandise such as yoga pants and jewelry; and exclusive bonus footage on the o2 video player and games.
